I never lost hope that Jim Carey would come back as Doctor Robotnik. Frankly, I couldn’t imagine a movie without him. Not just because he’s perfect in the role, but because having a Robotnik on screen would be key given Shadow’s origins.
The only workaround that I considered would have been if Gerald Robotnik had somehow survived and he took Eggman’s place.
Jim Carey was why I went to see the first movie in theaters, so needless to say I find him pretty pivotal in these films.
I'm so excited to see the third sonic movie, jim carrey reprises his role as dr eggman, the actresses for rouge and maria are already confirmed. I hope Sofia pernas will be amy and the roles for the others will be revealed soon

Here's my theory on how the opening would go, the first scene is Eggman breaking into a facility like in the game, while also talking to Agent Stone since in the end of Sonic Movie 2 he became a spy so he knows all of this info, and then he finds Shadow, and then intro's logos and all that, next we cut to Sonic escaping from the helicopter and then use one of the parts to board basicaly what happend in SA2, while he is boarding he narates, what happend before he got in the helicopter, maybe how he got arrested and so on
Note : i changed a few thing bc i felt the first one before i edited wasnt that good
