Why not go celerity instead of transendence? It boosts your e (which is also buffed by building ap) and you build items with move speed with some support items (censer staff of flowing water etc.) and swifties. It also benefits the senna passive move speed stolen when taking a soul, kinda giving it the fleet footworks movement speed buff feel (at least thats how i fellt when playing). Also is the enchanter build with going flickerblade second for faster q's and w's a troll idea?
She feels team reliant. At least in low elo. I’m in emerald and it feels better to just play a tank support cus people still don’t know how to play the game and emerald is literal elo hell. Going against high emeralds low diamonds while having a random plat player means the consistency of scaling feels so coin flip. Could just play a tank and be more proactive. Although I do love this senna: not reliant on being absurdly broken to be usable.
theory crafting here, how about Guinsoo's into Dawncore into ardent censor/echoes of helia? def more squishy but can actually do a bit of damage while your heal will spike at second item? Am I crazy?
I still haven't seen one convincing game of enchanter Senna since the change. Ioki is literally one of the best Senna players in North America and he can't even hard carry with her (or soft carry for that matter). She's so dependent on her team now that even an exceptional player like this can't change the course of his games with her. This is looking worse than I thought...
That's literally all enchanters. They can't carry. They are enablers. That's like complaining the sky is blue. When's the last time you've seen a Nami carry a game?

This is literally my point and thus my disappointment that a very capable damage support like Senna is now a support that can't carry like the aforementioned Nami. That is reliant on the team around her and has less agency. We have so many supports that operate that way. So many characters that put us in the subservient shielding and healing character fantasy. Senna (and I'd argue Pyke) fill very rare Support niches. They provide a very rare support hero fantasy that I adore. A playstyle and fantasy that is sorely lacking for supports in League currently. I'm not complaining that the sky is blue. I'm complaining that I loved the sky being blue and I don't understand why they've made it orange.
@TekTr0niK the old senna is still the same except for minor attack speed and critical strike chance scaling nerfs. The only other thing this patch added was just improved her AP ratios so an AP build is actually viable. Just build the same way before if you don't want to be an enchanter

He likes being an aggressive playmaking support and I do as well. I came to this video because I trust his opinion because he and I DO have a similar playstyles and like similar things from the support role. When he says Enchanter Senna is strong and great I believe him and I'll play it thusly. With that being said, I'm also mourning the loss of a playstyle that I love. I like lethality on Senna. Scratch that, I love it. Is it harder to play, yes. Does it win less, stats say so. Does your teammates hate when you play her that way, yes (but like I'm sure Ioki feels screw them who cares what they want). Do I feel like a god when my rando ADC is shitting the bed and I literally take over his role mid game and clutch carry us to victory, ABSOLUTELY YES! That essentially doesn't exist as an option for her now. I'm simply grieving in the channel of someone that I really admire who asks in his videos for his viewers to comment below. I commented and shared my opinion and my sadness at a loss of the playstyle that I love. More over, I really haven't played her yet after the change so I'm really mostly commenting on how I'm interpreting his play and what's happening in the game. I feel like Senna is now in between what she used to be. Now shes not that good of an enchantress nor a good semi-adc (when used as support). It heals, but not enough, it does damage but not enough either. Old Senna was an ADC with a bit if sustain in her Q. New Senna is an enchantress with a bit of damage. Perhaps a mixed build would work?

Can confirm, you can climb past emerald with enchanters. Less agency does not mean less wins nessisarily. It's different not worse, if you want the 1v9 hypercarry play a different role, for support 1v9 champ is wierd, senna has always been wierd, good to see her more in line with the role now.
@Dani-fey I'm only one rank off from that (p1), but I'm not very "enchanted" with the new build. I do more shielding and more healing with other champs. Sure, being able to globally shield allies and hurt the enemy is always great (I LOVE a good global), but my issue is reliability. If you have to count on someone else doing what they're supposed to do as your core strategy, it isn't fit for solo que. I main her, so of course I can make it work, but it just doesn't feel good...and screw the line. The line is boring lmao
masters + gameplay is way better to watch, ur skills are cracked and i hate seeing the low elo tards arguing with you about "mAcRo" like that ashe who stayed bot far too long lmfao

Senna is up to a 53% winrate with Pyke as her only lossing matchup in high elo. The nerf stick is coming out with a vengance next patch😭.
