Driving around with my her and my mom as I stare out the window when I was a child as well. Beneath the warm nostalgia, this song also reminds me of my dad, who was a huge part of my inner conflict as a child. Of course you think your relationship with your father/parent will last your lifetime as a child, and when it doesn’t, well it leaves everything within you “uncomfortable”.
