@thewarriorforever I understand completely. I can listen to a few others but Dimash is a must everyday all day. Only artist I ever even considered flying across the country to see. Went to New York the day of the concert and flew out at 5:30 am the next. It was worth it. Ww love the music, the voice but also the man. I can appreciate other music but only he has my heart.

I've listened to a lot of other artists, including the artists you mentioned. Yes, they are all good singers, but no one can compete with Dimash's preternatural abilities and what he is able to transmit to me. I literally have to listen to him every day. I believe that many of the people who say that he is technically skilled but does not provide emotions usually have ulterior motives (jealousy, likes another artist, etc.). Dimash wrote this song when he was 19 years old and the lyrics were written by Oral Baissengir, of course in Kazakh. This performance was in Kazakhstan (Gakku TV is a Kazakh television channel. I heard there were about 150,000 spectators and the city center had to be completely closed). There he hit his highest note so far, his famous D8. You don't need to look for this note on the piano, the keys weren't enough for that anymore. Some say the tone isn't exactly pleasing to the ear, but it doesn't make it any less spectacular. Incidentally, Dimash himself said that this was not actually intended. He probably wanted to sing his "normal" G#7, but when he did, no sound came out of his throat. When he started again, the C8 came and then the D8.

He's probably waving the mic not only for the cool effect, but also to show that he‘s singing live. He is often accused of pre-recorded singing. Sometimes he has to do that depending on the show he's singing on. Some shows don’t allow live performances. But I heard that in Russia he is secretly considered a freak because he usually insists on singing live. But he doesn't do that wave as often anymore. I think because he doesn't have to prove anything anymore. However, he sings a lot with a different microphone technique, so he can't use a headset microphone either. Otherwise the ears of the audience would probably fly off🤯😅. He controls the volume of his voice by either holding the microphone close to his mouth or moving it away. You really need to know your vocal abilities to do that. That’s really cool🥰. A very good example is in Opera2.

If we check other versions that Dimash sings of this song (which he wrote when he was younger), we can see a melisma or other very beautiful variations in this part of the "whistle". Here, singing on an open stage and with some discomfort in the return (we can see it several times by adjusting the headphones) we realize, in this specific part of the song, that he is going to do something and, not being able to do what he would like (Perhaps the interference of the audience or the inaccurate response of the sound, a fact that impaired his concentration), he then issued this wonderful and historic C#8 modulated to D8, with vibrato! In a more technical analysis, we can see that the notes sound dissonant, as they do not belong to the harmonic field of the tonality of the music. Still, it's a demo of technique! Vitas started that mic wave technique many years ago when he was singing his hit Opera 2. It was Vitas's signature move until the time came when he stopped singing it live and mimed to a pre-recorded version. I have seen Vitas performing Opera 2 several times now and he doesn't use that mic waving anymore. Other than Dimash, I haven't seen anyone else do it. When he was learning it for competitions Dimash would have watched Vitas perform the song over and over and seen that move. He probably though it was a good idea and copied it. I expect Vitas did it to show that he was singing live and prove to his detractors that he really could sing that high. It's an unusual move and it's showy. There are people who continue to say Dimash sings songs pre-recorded. I disagree, but I don't know for sure. There might be pressures on him on certain TV shows or stage performances that force him to mime - pressures that we don't know about. Anyway, sometimes when he does something spectacular and other times when he simply feels like doing it, he does the mic wave.

It’s an unbelievable note that Dimash sings here. The performance is beautiful but my favorite is from on line concert. Every performance of the same song Dimash sings differently. And it’s with most of his songs. So they all worth to react to. And your reaction is nice as always.

Hello, many times when singing, Dimash shakes the microphone quickly 🎤 and it looks good. He brings it to his mouth and quickly removes it several times. I don’t agree! He just do it differently! He listens and listens again those parts. His comments are plenty of what others are lack of: knowledge about music and probably he created his own channel to contribute with what he can offer! And what Aaron is offering us is much more than what other reactors are able to: (just listen, so not a “big” scontribution actually!). I do not think we have to be that picky with reactor in this matter! Let them guide their channels the way they want! No necessary to be that intrusive, but if you are, no need to use the plural. Maybe yours, is not everybody’s opinion! I do not pretend to offend anybody, I just have a different opinion!

Yes you need to stop some but please not every few seconds again 😂. I mean it in a friendly way, thanks for reacting to Dimash, he was young here and he wrote the music to this song in his teens, and a friend added lyrics to it. Yeah we need balance please here you reverted to stopping like crazy and it's honestly not very enjoyable. I am for you finding a good balance between your thoughts and your stops. Like I said I say this really trying to help you not irritate the listeners yet having enough stops to help with copy rights and to say what you want to say in regards to the performance. Also a fact on this concert he donated all the proceeds to Charity and sought to do it privately not seeking glory, but the information slipped out, but what an awesome human he is. Also this is the only mistake I have seen Dimash make he was going for a F7# or G7# I am not sure which one but it didn't come so he reloaded and gave us that insanely high D8 that had vibrato and was connected. He can go higher he said but he will not because higher doesn't sound good or sound where you can even hear it, his goal is beautiful music not setting world records, as said from his mouth on the subject. BTW he was far past Mariah Carey here. It goes against common thoughts but Dimash seems to feel extremely grounded on his knees, generally standing gives greater support but Dimash is just special in every way that's good. Dimash usually takes one ear piece out when he is going very high, maybe to protect his own hearing, here you see him put it in to hot that first note then he immediately pulled it out again. Normally Dimash heeps it in the 7th octave and below.
