Thank you Raymond for your work. Although i heard report of such on another channel, I am grateful at least now knowing the Mass was discontinued! Thank God the priest knew not to give out the Holy Eucharist! That was info. was not given on the other channel. What DID occur was horrendous, sickening. It should be an ALARM, Huge Warning to all Catholic Churches to be put on Guard of our all our sacred Churches & what will be allowed. Priests etc. cannot be naive anymore!

Where is the birth certificate? The person's name at birth is unknown? Where is the baptismal certificate? A Catholic funeral is celebrated for the baptized Catholic. Where is the bishop's canonical dispensation? Why have the incompetencies of the vetting process not been removed?
The was laxity on the part of the Staff who received the request without a "Complete Staff Work" of background checking.

I am coming into the church this Easter vigil. I wondered if the priest am bishop were intimidated by the people. When they came into the parish and began to act the way they did it seems to me that would’ve been a mob mentality . I don’t know I saw the video and the priest sitting in the chair, and I wondered if he thought “Oh God, what have I allowed to happen?”
Perhaps if we pray a Rosary with all the mysteries with these people as our intentions, there would be a change in their hearts.
It all boils down to this: Satan knows that he is going down and he wants to take all of us with him. God made and loves these people. When people die and go to hell even if they made that choice, I believe Gods heart is broken. We just need to pray for them.

Forget trans for a moment - Why was the funeral of an atheist allowed in a Catholic Cathedral? Usually, the parish will ask if the deceased is Catholic and verify that by contacting the home parish. Why wasn't this done? Surely, St. Patrick's is in enough demand that the privilege of a funeral Mass is reserved for Catholics. The deceased being a trans activist makes me think this was planned and approved.

Usually, when a family contacts a priest for a funeral , the priest/bishop ask a number of questions and if the deceased is not Catholic and other issues that arise, the deceased would have a burial service or a service at funeral home. Fathet should have stopped it before it began

@@therealongI am fully endorsing the TLM because the rubrics don’t allow for ad lib from priests. It’s the same Mass in the USA as it is in Europe, Africa etc. That is what is beautiful about it. Because of the strict rubrics and the beauty that flows from it, there is no way a requiem Mass would have been allowed for a situation like the one at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral.

1- the priest uses the phrase “turned out” that’s a term with a specific impure connotation. He didn’t say “big crowd” or “showed up”, but there’s a pause for people to catch on. Sad.
2- a “process” isn’t what allowed rupnik’s crimes to go unpunished. A “conservative” priest has no problem getting his faculties pulled for any accusation or even a comment in a sermon. His excommunication was lifted and he has been protected by those who have the authority and duty to carry out justice. The laws are there, these aren’t new problems in the church. The hierarchy isn’t serious about fixing it.

John XXIII was heavily rumoured to be a Freemason. They were definitely very happy that he became Pope in 1958 rather than Cardinal Siri of Genoa who was actually elected at that conclave.

It is Cardinal Dolan's full responsibility to make sure nothing like this sacrilegious, horrible scandal happens in his Diocese especially at St. Patrick's Cathedral ! He's so busy with politics that he let's this abomination in any Catholic Church ! St. Patrick pray for us 🙏 😢.

Its not surprising considering Cardinal Dolan and the St Patrick parade(Gay activist groups openly march in NYC St. Patrick’s Parade, pro-life groups shut out) at the time I recommended a separate St Patrick penitential walk to St Patrick Catherdral next to the road of the St Patrick parade on the same day wearing purple instead of green.

Sister's generosity toward Father Dougherty is over the top. He sat there, watched it all, participated, and offered prayer... There was nothing he did to suggest he wasn't complicit with the intent of this mockery. Giving him a pass because he retracted the Mass is weak sauce.
The bucks stops with the bucks. I wager the cathedral got a few thousand bucks for the use of the church.
