Coming from a Hispanic family, we also reused plastic bags from grocery stores as garbage bags and it took about 30 years to finally get an official stainless garbage can in the kitchen XD we still use the grocery bags in the bathroom though haha I love your apartment and congrats on the move!

I'm slightly less interested in the "this is my total income and here's how I make it" side of things, and more interested in the "here is my income and here's how I manage it" side. For example, how do you pay for school, rent in expensive cities, invest into yourself and your UA-cam brand, plan for your financial future, budget for each spending category, save for big purchases and goals (such as moving), etc. It's hard to figure out how to live in this country, but you seem like you have a great head on your shoulders and are very responsible, so I'd love to learn from someone who manages their wealth as well as you appear to!

So happy for you, I find that being busy for yourself, and independent...and by being busy I don't always mean work, I mean just keeping yourself occupied by doing life and taking care of yourself...that takes a lot of idle overthinking away from your mind I find, for me anyway. Some of my most therapeutic moments by myself have simply been found in doing the simplest errands to take care of me (I love laundry haha)...and yes, keeping our cats fed and healthy, haha. Being busy for yourself is great, so happy for you Linh, been your vlog follower for a while. Been following you even before you moved to DC!
