Caterpillar Advances Attachment Operation with Smart Grader Attachments

Cat's Tharen Peterson talks about the smart grader blades for the D3 series skid steer and compact track loaders.
Smart attachments have three defining features: attachment recognition, which means the machine knows there's an attachment and what kind of attachment it is; advance displays providing operator feedback; and mode control, which lets the operator use the existing joysticks to operate the smart attachment.

I have a Cat 289 D, first version. Will there be a version of this that will work with this machine? I would not need the smart version. I currently have a Bobcat grader attachment I use with the machine.

do you have the grader set up so you can do everything off your joysticks ?

@@luckyshu2250 Yes. The only issue I have is the bucket tilt moves hydraulically when grading. This changes the grader blade location. I have not figured out how to lock the bucket curl function. Perhaps it is overloading the hydraulic pressure reliefs. Have you noticed this with the new grader attachment?
