- Vlogmas 2022, Day 4. We share all of our Advent Calendars for 2022! We found some really fantastic calendars this time around and we are really looking forward to the mysteries that await inside! One little oops-- Jessica missed the fine print in Bailey's Etsy order and accidentally got her a 12 day calendar, so we are doing hers a little differently this time. We also really wanted to show you how cute Luke was when recording our Vlogmas intro, so we included that today! All of our videos are closed captioned and always family friendly.

when the entire family waited patiently for Luke to finish his thought (and didn't roll their eyes or ridicule when he didn't have anything else to say)....a small moment but SO important ♥️
Maybe for Parker's calender you can put stickers over the numbers and then re-number them all mixed up style so he can get that enjoyment.

@@emigrace3228 usually with the funko pop ones they are all the same size, just different characters so I don't think changing the order would effect the experience.
I love that Duncan still receives lots of cuddles. He was very much a middle child, with little Luke having some difficulties. However, he loves his little brothers, and is so loved by Bailey and Jacob.
Luke's enthusiasm for life is contagious!
I had actual tears watching Luke and everyone else have so much fun with the "Vlogmas" song. So happy! 🥰
Luke’s personality is just so big. He’s really maturing and progressing so much. It’s a joy to see his progress. He’s such a cutie. Of course everyone else is awesome as well.
I’m dying for you guys to bring back a food advent calendar. I loved watching everyone try the hot sauce and the jam. That was the best year for advent 😁😁

Bailey should alternate her advent calendars. It might be a little confusing, but I think it would be fun and space out the games a little so you guys have time to play and enjoy each one. Inlove Luke's encanto one! And Jacob should definitely watch more of the office!!! It gets better and better

Before you even revealed Bailey's first advent calendar I was like "omg her outfit is so cute and cottagecore!" We love to see Bailey finding her style and aesthetic!

My brother and I agree with Bailey- the worse the advent calendar, the better. We got an off-brand, overseas Pokémon advent this year and have big hopes for it 😂
I love the online cooking class the kids all take, what a great way to learn basic and also not so basic cooking skills, plus seeing how everyone enjoys and loves their cooking is so good for them!
Looks like Jacob has some binge watching to do this December

I love the mixed numbers especially when the numbers blend with the background and numbers are different sizes, finding the numbers is another whole other experience.
I also got a coffee advent calendar for my keurig, and also luke wants everyone to know that THERE ARE BLUEBERRIES ON THE BACK

I religiously watch your channel especially around Xmas ! The Advent colander opening is my favourite part as my kids are now in there 20’s they think there too old to do the calendars !
I got the Haba calendar for my daughter last year. I took the winter landscape, cut it into 4 parts, laminated it, and it's getting played with again this year! 🥰
I know you won't see this, but I've looking forward to Vlogmas So Much because my first vlogmas with you was last year, and I had just started my new and first job in my field, graphic design / motion design, and would watch this every day as I worked. I am now about to celebrate a year with this company.
I love seeing what advent calendars you each choose and watching you all open each day. I finally got myself my first ever advent calendar this year. I got a Lindt chocolate one like Parker had the year before last. I can't wait till Dec 1st. This may be a new tradtion!
I had actually never heard of an advent calendar until the Ballingers. It has been apart of my family’s Christmas tradition for a few years now and I thank the Ballingers for sharing their traditions as well as trying new traditions, foods, activities themselves with all of us and introducing me to Advent Calendars!

Fact: You start with number 1 because number 24 has the most of the time a huge or the best stuff in. Thats why to start with number 1.
My family has started our own version of the advent tradition. We pick each other's names out of a hat and then we go to the dollar store and pick out 24 items for the person we got!

I prefer the numbers to be out of order, it's part of the fun to find the right doors. I have yawn's hot chocolate advent calendar! And also a tea calendar from a company called bird & blend. I'll also do an embroidery stitch-along during advent. I've never thought to look for advent calendars on etsy tho, thanks for the tip! I'm very excited for this festive period!
I like it in order. lol when your extra stressed over christmas you end up accidentally opening the wrong one. 😂😂😂😆🙈

I know you guys love to cook - lil suggestion if you want - gnocchi are so simple and fun to make from scratch and what I love doing with a yummy rosé sauce is instead of regular potatoes I’ll make sweet potato gnocchi. 💕

A fun game to play during holiday times, not specific to holidays but I’ve only played it during Christmas when visiting family/family visiting us, is New Market!
New market is a British game that I won’t try to explain here but if you look it up it’s a generally simple game that only requires 2 packs of cards(you only really use 1 deck) some coin “currency”(it can be real $ coins, fame money, M&M’s, rocks, basically anything) and a “kitty” which is just a small bowl to put in a pot of “money” that the winner of a round wins!
It’s really fun and quick to learn, even for kids! I would recommend that Luke, and Duncan work in teams with an older player because it can be difficult for the younger folk for the first few games.
can we maybe have a compilation of Christopher opening his calendar from last year? :D
Loved the Advert Calendars this year. It was refreshing to not hear you prompting Luke to say blueberry a ton of times. Luke is a sweetly that you need to encourage his language and not to make him a character.
Teddy's calendar is about a raven named Theo :)) what are the odds????! So freaking cool!

Jessica, I looked up Bailey’s advent Cottage Cove calendar and they did have one for 24 days (now sold out). You’re not going crazy. If each of the items are in an organza bag as described, it’s fun to hang the bags from a ribbon draped across the room or on the wall. I have refillable bags that are tied with a ribbon to close the bag and then each bag has another ribbon to tie on the Main ribbon. Looking forward to seeing what Bailey gets. She’s so happy all the time that I’m sure she’ll enjoy whatever happens. Loved Luke’s “Thank you, Dada”. He’s adorable 😍
It’s so cool to see how far like has come verbally!!! I’m starting to understand him so much more in videos! I dont know if you guys are comfortable with this but if you were I’d be interested to hear about how his health is! I’m curious whether he still wears his special shoes or anything!

I got my first ever advent calendar for this year. I’m very excited and funny enough its the same as the boys. I got a Funko pop one but its Disney characters.
I love watching your advent series. Advent is super big in my house as well and we all search for the most unique one every year but of course we can’t get them all so I love seeing more advent opening. We have a Star Wars Lego, a Pokémon card one, a Harry Potter candy one, a toddler dr set and then our dogs we got from Costco. We also got two family ones to enjoy together a game one similar to Bailey’s and the Bonnie maman jam one. I also enjoy searching for my number and don’t like when the numbers are in order.

In my family we had a reusable felt advent calendar where all the numbers were in order (and we’d refill with chocolate coins every year) and then one that just had pictures to open where the numbers were random. Best of both worlds!

I bought that Encanto advent calendar for my 1 year old because she is OBSESSED with Encanto. But I don't think I will ve allowing her to open it because there are seriously siny pieces in it. And one of the characters doesn't come with his own legs. I would HIGHLY suggest getting Luke a different one it is not safe for little kids to have
