His voice acting is so good, I even forgot that he's British as well. I remember that in Dr Strange first movie, his American's accent was weird. Seems like he's been improved it.
The Watcher telling Strange he can't interfere makes even more sense after watching the last two episodes. If he had stopped Dr. Strange, Ultron would've destroyed everything.
even the ending for season 1 is bittersweet. Strange has to go back to his broken reality and keep watch over ultron and killmonger for the rest of eternity probably
@Aman Aryan if you decide to see it, be patient and set in English dub because the first half is slow but necessary for 2nd half because it will pick up nicely. If you're not a fan of Eng dub, it's fine to hear their original voice. Comparing to Dr Strange ep, SG takes more time to develop, just like the VN.
Yeah this was darkest out of all the episodes, darker than Zombie because that was most earth in ruins. Ultron may have wiped 99.8% of life, but at least they still have a universe. even if there were some dark episodes in season 2, nothing can top Doctor Strange
@@artfire28 omg yes! Christine dying reminded me of Mayuri dying over and over. And the ending was very madoka-esque. It also had some higurashi vibes as well.
Think about it from Doctor Strange‘s girlfriend’s point of view. She remembers being shot, dying, and is then re-awakened to a hellish nightmare with the person she loves being the cause of it and her next death. Throughout this living hell, she is confused and extremely fearful the entire time up to her death. To her it was like waking up in Hell, with her boyfriend being the devil. Pure terror.
My favorite episode from the “What If?” series was episode 4. Even though it ended so sadly, it was the best episode as rather than end on a happy note, it gives us the fans a lesson instead.
If you think about it it is kinda good strange did that. If not Strange Supreme will not exist and therefore the Watcher will have one less teammate against Ultron. Lets just say I have seen one too many memes of Strange doing all the carrying and the rest just there to help out a little
Strange Supreme begging for forgiveness when nothing exists in his reality anymore, not even the concept of existence, is downright depressing. Darkest moment? Hmm… I’d have to put it as a tie between Strange Supreme destroying his universe via absolute point reversion and Zombie Thanos at the end of episode 5.
True. But i gotta say, i think strange might be a little darker for logic. The zombie universe might still have a chance if thor and the guardians haven't been devoured yet. Plus the stone doesn't let any zombie, minus thanos, get near it because of its frequency. Strange on the other hand, lost literally everything. He cant rebuild it. He has to spend the rest of the years in his life, or even for eternity, isolated. Alone. Without a home. No one but himself to stay in this void that he blames himself for and cant do anything about it. Sure, maybe he can rebuild his world because of the stones, but that's a low chance since the watcher is there and can stop him again. Even the zombies episode had more hope than strange's episode
@@crowzyourz642 true but did you see the shit the survivors went through?! They literally and figuratively lost Hope! That was heart wrenching! Not to mention we have no clue what’s become of Bucky and Bruce. Season 2 better give us something to show as a continuation!
@@archangelsupreme4963 yeah but if you think about it, strange went through same pain and maybe even worse. Imagine losing all your loved one, all your friends and family members because it was all your fault and having to live with that same thought for an eternity. @@crowzyourz642 fair point GPG; fair point. Though from what I’m hearing season 2 is supposed to be a touch more light hearted cause in count this season has about 3 to 4 bummer episodes more specifically episodes 3, 4, 5, and of course episode 8.
For me my favorite part is from the clip show where he keeps trying to alter tone and ends up not going to pick her up. I know he ended up doing a lot of bad things but the fact that he was willing to let her go and have her hate him just so she could live is a really nice thing to think of, even though it technically never happens now since time collapsed in on itself
Doctor Strange just became Darth Vader of MCU! Both turned to dark side just to save their loved ones and fails at it. And at the end sacrifices themselves to bring back the balance in the universe. They are the most powerful and coolest character in their respective universe.
I knew that the moment when Doctor Strange Supreme destroyed his universe would take the #1 spot on this list. Now I wonder how many dark moments will we get in Season 2.
The “I’m sorry” from strange makes me tear up so much. That sounded like genuine despair and heartbreak and hearing that come from my favorite marvel character after he just watched everything he has ever known and loved fade away into nothing forever as if none of it has ever existed is fucking heartbreaking. Strange already has a sad story, but even then I think supreme strange deserved a little better at least.
At this point, I'm not sure if Disney/Marvel had everything figured out, or I'm just too invested in the MCU that I automatically think whatever they release is good. Either way, I hope DC/WB catches up at one point so new generations would have other Cinematic Universes to enjoy.
@@dd_doesit yeah, how's that related to their CINEMATIC universe which is what I mentioned in my post. I am a big fan of DC's animated universe, but it really has nothing to do with DCEU whereas Marvel's success with their MCU allows them to tie up everything to it and have relative success.
I really wish the DCEU took their time setting up instead of playing catch up with the MCU. They really tried to get their cinematic universe rolling without it feeling earned. If they had taken their time, they might have actually stood a better chance later in marvel’s life when marvel feels more tired.
None of the WHAT IF eps are new original story line, they all come from existing ones. This episode just added the element of the virus into Ant Man and The Wasp plot. That argument is pretty invalid in the context of this show.
Ultron is by far one of the biggest villains in Marvel (and in all of superhero media) Even though Avengers Age Of Ultron wasn’t particularly the best the MCU had to offer imo They more than made up for it with his scary portrayal in this series if you ask me
Episode 4 could have been even worse, apparently Evil Strange was supposed to beat Good Strange to death with the with his amulet, but Disney scrapped it for being too brutal
Agree with the list, though it is to Strange Supreme's credit that even after everything that happened he was still prepared to help the Watcher and fight for the multiverse with no agenda.
I want to cry at that moment when he lost Christine one last time. He had good intentions but it had dire consequences. In this case love was a little too powerful that it Ruptured time and space and it didn't work out for him. Poor Strange Supreme 😭😭😭😭😭
For the darkest moment is a tie between Ultron destroying all of life in the universe and Hulk exploding (that was the most brutal I’ve seen in episode 3)
207: 10 -I don’t know what to say but it’s awful 9 -wish I didn’t see that 8 -did freak me out at first 7 -bad feeling about that and nearly died in episode 9 6 -there are some scenes that had me in shock 5 -I don’t blame her 4 -didn’t like that at all 3 -I couldn’t believe he did that 2 -awful, just awful. Rest In Peace Chadwick Boseman 1 -As episode 4, I was in major shock and got to admit that was dark
Strange Supreme story is the saddest thing ever. Through his own desperation, he unintentionally forces himself to relive Christine’s death over and over again. Then he spends centuries absorb all sorts of demons and turned himself into something else, all just to watch his entire universe destroyed by his own actions, and his love disappearing from reality in his arms, horrified at what he has become. After the whole Ultron thing, he is now entirely alone in his universe, tasked with watching over Killmonger and Zola for eternity
What if marvel zombies episode is my top 3 favorite episode from this first season, Peter/Spider-Man outshined the episode with how they portrayed what makes Peter Spider-Man, especially him finally mentioning Uncle Ben. It was executed phenomenally I’d pay good money for a live action version but it needs to be rated r. The final episode was a 9 in my book along side episode 8 was how age of ultron should’ve been or at least in future projects for live action, but if I had to choose the best it would have to be episode 4 with dr.strange supreme
What really bothers me in Strange's episode is not the "Universe the is gone because of you" type of thing, it's the fact that he isn't really a bad person that wants to destroy the universe, he just wanted to be with Christine.
"Gamora: survivor of Sakaar, destroyer of Thanos," said Uatu. Although A.C. Bradley said that the upcoming episode in season 2 is lighthearted considering Tony is alive there unlike the Sacred Timeline and the other timelines, there is a darkest moment in it, and it's Thanos killing everyone in Sakaar just to look for Gamora. Though she succeeds in killing him with Tony's help hence inheriting his armor and sword in the end, the damage has already been done. "Survivor of Sakaar, destroyer of Thanos," indeed.
I would've wanted to see Ultron go in the zombie universe, since the zombies most likely don't feel fear, they'll be no holding back from them, and how quickly Iron man, Wong, and Doctor Strange took down Maul compered to their 616 counterparts, it'll be a more difficult fight for Ultron
I disagree. Zombies are no match for Ultron if he is armed with the infinity stones (although a similarly armed Thanos could potentially cause problems)
All of them are super dark, and super awesome as hell!! 💚💚💚💚💚👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥. I’m really looking forward to season 2, to see where the 4th phase goes on from this point on.
The watcher cant bring back all the dead on that Natasha's world but instead sends her to the world of "What if earth lost its avengers". Hawkeye didnt die a villain because Fury knew the truth by the end and survived, would have cleared him a hero. The Watcher could not intervene with Strange, If he had helped Supreme Strange, then Strange wouldn't have the pocket dimension needed to trap Killmonger and Ultron at the end.
fun fact the comics had a story about zombies but funny thing is that one of the zombies did the same thing to black panter and used him as treat to keep them from going mad and black panter lost the same parts of his body eaten like his leg
Strange using time stone over and over again is the saddest for me..... Makes us realise the things we do to our loved one that can be avoided if we think for a second...
The Doctor Strange episode (ep4 I think?) ended in a similar fashion as the USS Callister episode of Black Mirror. Which is also one of their 2 award winning episodes

207: 10 -I don’t know what to say but it’s awful
9 -wish I didn’t see that
8 -did freak me out at first
7 -bad feeling about that and nearly died in episode 9
6 -there are some scenes that had me in shock
5 -I don’t blame her
4 -didn’t like that at all
3 -I couldn’t believe he did that
2 -awful, just awful. Rest In Peace Chadwick Boseman
1 -As episode 4, I was in major shock and got to admit that was dark
Marvel Fans:MCU will never adapt Darker Marvel Storylines
MCU WHAT IF SHOW:Hold my Beer
Dr. Strange episode reminded me of two highly acclaimed anime series Steins;Gate and Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
I want to see doctor strange fight that rejected Digimon monster of a devil.
What really bothers me in Strange's episode is not the "Universe the is gone because of you" type of thing, it's the fact that he isn't really a bad person that wants to destroy the universe, he just wanted to be with Christine.
I actually think the darkest moment of "What If" was back in episode 3, where we realized that ANYONE can die.
Amazing first season and can't wait for season 2.
The hardest thing is to watch how they're killing Tony Stark again anf again, that's truly heartbreaking
The alternate MCU Hank Pym murdered all 5 possible members of the Avengers.
I believe Pym will serve 5 LIFE SENTENCES.
Or Execution if Loki is in charge of the sentence
This show and Loki are the best TV shows I’ve seen this year along with cobra Kai and the bad batch
First time watching the strange episode hearing him repeat “no” at the end hurt me inside
All of them are super dark, and super awesome as hell!!
💚💚💚💚💚👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥.
I’m really looking forward to season 2, to see where the 4th phase goes on from this point on.
The last episode ending hit me right in the feels and gave me the warm and fuzzies.
I can't get over Eric killing T Challa and Rhodey. There are too many heartbreaking connotations in that.
04:53 Watch out! Don't crash our beloved ice-cream & fast-food branch!
Maybe one of them should've also said "I guess it's true what they say, love can make you do crazy things." In an attempt to lighten the mood.
Keep it up on your work and this channel
Thanks you for your channel
The montage of Steven trying save Christina and failing every time is so sad!
Congrats on 24 million watch mojo!
Personally I thought Bucky using the shield to kill zombie Steve and them saying "sorry pal, guess this is the end of the line" was the darkest moment
This series did feel much more dark and gritty compared with the hilarious and more light hearted cinematic universe
I can't wait to see season 2 I hope it has more stories of the Hulk and Scarlet Witch
Everything in this marvel what if…? Series is blow our mind
Doctor strange Absorbing creatures actually was pretty terrifying to see and hear about that should be number one honestly
Thanks you for your video
Definetly when Bucky used caps own shield to rip him in half
When Doctor Strange supreme destroyed the universe and Christine died and he says "No", that was so sad
Mojo: wHatS ThE daRkESt mOMenT iN whAT iF? Me: the entirety of episodes 3, 4, 5 and 6
6:53 tough song, she talking about us Mort
The watcher cant bring back all the dead on that Natasha's world but instead sends her to the world of "What if earth lost its avengers".
Hawkeye didnt die a villain because Fury knew the truth by the end and survived, would have cleared him a hero.
The Watcher could not intervene with Strange, If he had helped Supreme Strange, then Strange wouldn't have the pocket dimension needed to trap Killmonger and Ultron at the end.
I think Strange Supreme takes the word dark to a whole new level.
I think we can all agree that in all of what if Strange Supreme is our favourite
The death of Hawkeye is my most saddest part in what if
Top 10 best Batman-inspired characters of all time.
What If killing of Hope twice and Tony multiple times broke me
Love yourself first and most
What about hawkeye sacrifce ??? That was one of the best shoot ever !
Yep, I agree with that. I was totally sad about Doctor Strange's episode although he is my favorite MARVEL character. His episode was epic
Can watcher fixed everything but he doesn't want to or he has no power to fix everything
Fully realized Ultron scared the everlasting piss out of me. Especially when he realized that Uwatu was watching.
any of the sad deaths from the zombies episode can go down as the Darkest What If moments in my book
fun fact the comics had a story about zombies but funny thing is that one of the zombies did the same thing to black panter and used him as treat to keep them from going mad and black panter lost the same parts of his body eaten like his leg
Strange using time stone over and over again is the saddest for me..... Makes us realise the things we do to our loved one that can be avoided if we think for a second...
Did anyone else notice that the audio device used to subdue rhodey and BP is a stronger version of what Obadiah used on tony in iron man 1??
A hero would sacrifice you for the world, a villain. I villain would sacrifice the world for you.
“Smile for me, Peter…” I never thought I would cry at a WASPS final words. 😭😭😭
It started to look like Hope is hitting on Peter.
Fr
It looked like a brother / sister kind of relationship to me
There are literally infinite possibilities for this show that I hope this show never ends.
The Wasp sizing back into original form while inside a just turned Sharon Carter is the darkest scene to me
The Doctor Strange episode (ep4 I think?) ended in a similar fashion as the USS Callister episode of Black Mirror. Which is also one of their 2 award winning episodes
Awesome!
