Well now, every time there’s a great adventure to be had, it seems that Gary's sure to "turnip"! lol Great to have a good friend to talk to and share the experience. I think possibly that clear cut was done by Ct. DEEP for New England Cottontail habitat; or at least some have been created around the state. Those bunnies need lots of early succession brushy habitat. We got about a foot of snow in Central NY while you were getting the rain, but it was gone in a couple days. Great vid Gary with you and your Pops!

Nah, why let the rain bust your mood and he is a good sport with that! I finally sung in a video LOL! You are supposed to make reservations 2 weeks in advance. The shelters are free to stay at, this just guarantees that you have a spot to camp, especially since you cant camp along the trails in CT.
I wish I could have done some cool stuff like that with my Dad. But that's okay. I did get to do other stuff. I learned some carpentry, plumbing, electrical & automotive stuff. Very valuable lessons indeed and I am glad. Now I like many more and others things. Take care.
I can see this as something to miss as I can't imagine not having him on trips sometimes. We still did normal car and house stuff but this has been something we have done since i could walk. I'm glad I have a chance to video it so the memories are there. All the best Tressa, I truly hope you are having a good week.
