Yeah, it's a lua script (though I'm not terribly good at making those) that was largely borrowed from a script I made for F-Zero X a couple of years ago to help visualise my driving lines while TASing. I can see this live if I wanted to but the framerate dips to the 50s while it's running, so if I want it to run at full speed like in the video, I have to record it at a lower framerate then speed up the footage.
@@jagg2zero Do you mind sharing the F-Zero X script? I'm working on something similar for Mario Kart 64. Though including a path line to quickly get an idea of the path traveled.

You'll still have to make some changes to "MapL", "MapR", "MapU" and "MapD" depending on the course you're on but they're already set up for Luigi Raceway. You can make other changes to the scripts as you see fit ofc (you may or may not want to change the hotkey to erase all the lines, too).
