So where does the propeller motor fit ? I’m on subscription so not got these issues In the hachette spitfire the motor went inside the engine block How does this work as I can’t see from your issue 19 or 20 how motor fits ? Plus on the spitfire I found we added the exhaust ports to engine and then 50 issues later we added the cowling sides which didn’t fit as the exhausts we added at the start of the issues weren’t quite aligned . I found that when adding exhausts you added them and glued them in position flat on the engine exhaust ports but there’s always a tiny bit of wiggle up and down and with no cowling as a guide my left hand side ones were pointing ever so slightly down. Had I not fitted them but waited until issue 50 when engine cowling sides appeared I could have got them positioned correctly. So I’m also thinking of not adding my exhaust ports yet, so that I can fit the engines in wings and then get exhausts added so that they look correct, if you see what I mean
Hi, would say looking at the image of parts we get in issue 21. that the motor will fit behind the cylinder blocks and a shaft will fit between the two cylinders. you can see were the parts fit on the existing engine block with the bearing for the shaft to go through. plus there looks like a piece to go the end of the shaft with the teeth to fit into the prop spinner. yes i agree about sticking the exhausts on at a later date , i said as much on facebook that i would address it when we get the cowls.and hopefully hachette will pick up on the issue of the exhausts by then and send out some replacments.
@@darrencarwardine3230 we just pull the prop off the motor shaft that we had in issue one and attach a long shaft and adapter between the two which we get in the next issue.

So the motor and propeller we got in issue one is no good thn 🤔
