I love trail mix but I am limited to seeds only due to a nut allergy. I've added dried chickpeas too which are nice for crunch. Have you made savoury or spicy trail mix before? Dried pineapple or mango would be nice to offset savoury or spicy.
Sometimes I rub a little chili powder on dried mango and it's such a nice sweet and spicy mix! I love that combo with some cheddar crackers too! Have you tried "moon cheese"? I think that would be really good in trail mix as a nut substitute because it's really crunchy, fatty, and salty! I love it all by itself. The dried chickpeas you mentioned are a great idea too! 🤗
Very interesting video. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends. I have been using Roasted Multivitamin Trail Mix from True Elements - a clean label food brand as a breakfast option and they are really tasty and healthy. Thank you.
i love a good trail mix, especially the little pops of fun mixed in with the healthy stuff 😊
