Man I’m late to this video but this is super helpful. I’ve been on scd for like 3 weeks now and I’ve been cooking like crazy. Excited to give this meal plan a shot next week. Looks super fast and super boring, right up my alley!
Yes I just started today, so I’m just a little behind you. I really like all your easy, actionable tips and the excellent video quality. I know it can be scary to put yourself out there (you’re braver than me!), but you’re doing an awesome job 😊
@@amylouwho Thanks so much for the compliments, Amy. I'm happy to hear you're having a go as well; it's nice to know I'm not alone :) Let's put in the work so we both hit some impressive results in the coming weeks!
Could we use the costco chicken ? That too can save time right. I looked at the nutritional facts and it doesnt have sugar. LOTS of sodium though but I figure slow carb is focusing on the sugar ?
Just discovered u. Luv yr content. I have bn putting on weight consistently and I need something to help me lose it all. Being older doesn't help either. Hormonal issues and water retention also are things I have to live with. Anyway today I've decided to try OMAD and while researching OMAD I came across your videos. N I luv your content. They're informative and to the point. I've decided to do SCD for now since I'm on OMAD and maybe move into healthy keto on days I don't do OMAD. That's my general plan. I am going to do this for myself. Just disgusted at my cholesterol and BMI numbers. They're thru the roof...🤪😭 So wish me luck. Thank u for your channel...it's motivating!
hi. thx for sharing this meal. I like to know if green beans, zucchini or cabbage be used instead of spinach ? How much of protein, blk beans and vegetable is needed for slow carb ?
Hey Alexander. First off, thanks so much for following on. When it comes to marinade, my day 1 in this video was: - 1/2 tbsp grape seed oil (any oil works) - 7 or 8 dashes hot sauce (no sugar) - rosemary leaves (not fresh/small jar) - paprika powder As you know I’m not experienced with cooking and all my previous seasoning involved stuff like bbq sauces with loads of sugar, so I just googled “healthy chicken marinades”. I think I’m a bit too paranoid with the “no sugar in ingredients”, because Tim Ferris himself swears by Sriracha hot sauce, where the second ingredient after “chili” is “sugar”. I just figure at least for this first month, to just play it safe with zero sugar in any ingredients. Also, I’ve switched up my marinades to give some variety day by day, but since I like spicy stuff, it generally always involves hot sauce 😜
Hey Wolfie, yes, that's for all 3 meals... when I first read 4HB, I saw the sample schedule from Tim Ferriss with four meals, but despite trying, I could never eat that much. How long have you been doing SCD?
@@MauriceMoves Thanks for replying. I have done 3 weeks and lost a fair amount, but I have been eating so much food! 4x what you prepared. It's good to know I can eat less.
Great informative video on a *very* simple take on the SCD diet. Really inspiring for a fellow "2 steps is too many steps" kinda guy. xD I went through it again to try & figure out exactly how you assembled the daily meals but couldn't find it. Do you have a description of what exactly you do to the cooked ingredients for each meal? (e.g. "fold cooked spinach & beans/salsa into cooked egg, slice in half for breakfast & lunch") Or direct me to the video where this was already described; I feel like I saw it *somewhere*...
Sweet! Nice to meet another "2 steps is too many" guy :) Thanks for watching! I feel like this video is the only cooking one I made for slow carb diet; I made a "Meal Plan" video, but didn't actually execute cooking; that was really just the reasonings for the ingredients-selections. Perhaps another channel on UA-cam? As a longshot, it mightve been a video I made more recently, but that was for Keto and not SCD. How's SCD going for you so far? How long have you been at it?

This is great! What did you marinate your chicken in?

Do you have any recommendations for where to look for sauces and seasoning ideas? Thx!
How many egg per day can i take ? ( Chicken difficult for me )
Just went to let you know you rock, joined the Reddit page and now I feel more confident starting doing the SCD THANK YOU!
Is that your food for the whole day? not one meal, that's divided into all three/four?

Oh dang, is it the "Simple SCD Meal Plan" video? If so no need to answer, my bad. Must've missed it.

10am is not "sleeping in" lol
wgy everybody makes idiot-recipes on this diet when you can practically cook whatever meal you want
