For anyone curious, this is a procedure known as carbon dioxide laser skin resurfacing
As the name implies, it uses a laser to vaporize CO2 under the uppermost layer of the skin, creating the "bubbles" that you see in the video which is just dead skin
This way, the skin surface is replaced or resurfaced looking brand new
But as with nearly all skin-related beauty procedures, the effects are NOT permanent
They last a couple of months to half a year if you're lucky
Your skin will always eventually revert back to its normal state
Like how a tan fades in a couple of weeks or how acne returns once you stop using $300 worth of skincare products per month

I have done it, I have chicken pox scars though so yes it does fade away your scars but it takes sessions according to your scars. I need a few more sessions. But it's worth it.
