Ben Haggard is obviously a very talented singer and he certainly has his father´s voice, but now I want to know if he can also write! It will be very hard to match Merle in that category (probably impossible), but I really want to hear some original material.

Awesome job! I watched the video with Marty and Max T. Barnes a few weeks ago. What a great job they did on it! I saw Marty in Huntingdon TN not to long ago and a buddy of mine had a hat made for him and some stickers that say HAG on them. It was really cool to see the sticker on Marty's guitar in the video!

I was raised in a mountain culture, where there was little money. Many went North to find work and send money back to the folks back home. I suspect such a scene had something to do with your dad's writing " I'm tired of this dirty old city" and Mel Tillis' "I want to go home."
