Hi Jennie! Can I just say how cute you are!! I love watching your videos! You keep me entertained! I love to see your smile when you get excited about a project , or talking about your cats. Your face lights up. I love all your yarns from your yarn hauls. I am actually working on more patch work squares and a baby blanket for a co worker. Have a good rest of your day! And you stay AWESOME JENNIE!!! ❤
I like your idea of writing date , price and place of purchase on the label. I try to remember to take a picture of my yarn orders when I get them. I will be able to see the date and brand, but the packing list doesn't always show the price.
You're so lucky to find yarn at thrift stores ❤ I can never find any 😂 I did get some pioneer woman yarn at Walmart today that was clearance priced at 3.00. I didn't buy all of it. 😅 Your baskets look great....another project I want to make someday. 😂
That basket is awesome and since you find it not to be your thing...that's a good idea about selling it. You will get it sold no problem there! Arlo's basket is adorable almost as adorable as him! Sorry about your car🥴😮💨!!
Hi Jenny the baskets are awesome! I have been also making cat beds. Two of my strands however are four weight cotton which gives them some sturdiness to stand on their own. It is no doubt rough on the hands but worth it. 😊
The color combo of the baby weight yarn basket made me giddy!!! I have a good amount of the one with the pink in it (of course 😂) I used it double strand to make Easter eggs. Now I will be on a quest for a skein or 2 of some variegated other colors.to make a basket. It really turned out so pretty without looking too baby. As far as hooks, I love my clover hooks but they are too short for me as well. I have been enjoying a set Ophire hooks in the color Barbie they are much more inline like the bates and I find them to be comfortable and glide nicely through most yarn. I hold my hook like a pencil. Thanks for the video. My crojo has been a little off this week. Sometimes amigurumis burn me out. Got stuck and determined to finish a jellyfish. Um never again.
I have a crocheted jellyfish! A friend of my youngest was making them and I bought one, he used to be on my bookshelf but I think someone in the house has claimed him!! lol
Hi, and good morning. Finally got a chance to sit down and watch your recent video. I was so happy to see it was there on my UA-cam page. I really wish you would post at least once a week. I always enjoy your videos because you are so enthusiastic about your yarn. You got some wonderful deals on your yard hole. Oh man, I Wish I could find such a good deal on Puzzle. It’s a great yarn. I always use one of my two big old N Metal hooks. Speaking of hook, I was glad to see that you got some new Susan Bates books. I learned on Susan Bates, and think they are great hooks. However, I would like to suggest that you try BothTulip, and a Clover hook. I think you will love both of them. They are a little on the expensive side, but you can buy them one at a time, if you can’t afford a set. Both of these hooks are very very comfortable in the hand, and just glide through the yard. I think it would be fun to see the little squares laid out on your bed. I think that would give people who are participating in this project of what they’re finished project will look like. I finished the rectangular, granny, stitch, blanket I was making for Boggy Creek Camp;. You might remember that I used three grannies in the center and then crocheted around them. Are used.Red Heart Suooer Saver Favorite Stripes/. The kids love bright colors I also was able to finish a Boggy Blsnket made a beautiful 8 inch squares and beautiful saturated colors. Each granny Square was trimmed in white, and I put it together, using a method I learned from.Yuwn the YAen Addict. When I saw this one folded at the end of my bed, it went so well with my bedroom, that I decided to keep it, and make another one for the Boggy Blsnket Brigade/. Like you, I most enjoy making blankets. Baby blankets are my favorite, but I have also been crushing larger ones lately. I am so thankful that I have this hobby to keep me busy, with a purpose. We have two Goodwill outlets in our town, but I have never seen yarn there. It’s been a long time since I’ve been there, so I think I will give them a call to see if they might have your now. You got some wonderful buys, and really didn’t spend that much money. good deal. Thank you so much for sharing your love of yarn with us. We all understand the irresistible urge to build our stashes. X I mean, was not to love about a urinal? Got to go get some coffee, and a small slice of Dutch A-please pie. I love having pie for breakfast. I hope to see you again soon. I always look forward to seeing what you are up to. Sandy from Cincinnati
I love pie for breakfast! Pumpkin pie is my go to but I also love Dutch Apple!! I do have a Clover hook but the overall length is too short for my big hands. They do have nice handles and so smooth on the yarn. I haven't tried Tulip yet. I wish I could do videos everyday but there are not enough hours in the day!! lol Sandy, would you mind sending me an email? I would love to share the Red Heart Super Saver "Melonberry" color with you. my email address is grannysquarepeg @ gmail . com
I made a tote bag & lined it, as a gift for a friend, out of 1.5 skeins of puzzle yarn. Mine was a blue & burgundy. $2 ea is a steal. Im thinking mine was as in the range of $10 to $12 at Walmart.
Love watching your videos The baby basket with the little yarn balls is so cute / I would make a baby blanket to go in it/ a perfect baby gift 🎁 Love the book cover🧶📚
I love crocheting Jayden basket pattern.i haven't got my done yet.butni am going to crochet my cats a bed.they love it when I crochet 🧶 yarns.enjoying your video ❤😊
I changed my name. I was IleneR2909. Your thrift yarn haul was amazing! Love all the baby yarn. I remember the yarn being called sport weight. I love your channel ❤️ I am still making squares. 4 different kinds. I'm making the c2c, scrap, and then 2 different granny, 1 your way with sc around in the same color as the square and then another with the granny stitch in black around it. I am loving them.
I love, love, love variegated yarn and granny squares. I cover my notebook/journals with pretty card stock and add a layer of cardboard (cereal box) too so they are sturdier for writing.
That's a yarn fidgit lol. Hopefully the cats won't eat it. I'm lucky mine doesn't mess with mine.☺️😸 You got alot of really good ones. I'm a mandala fan myself. It was good to see you again. You make my day☺️🫶👍❣️
Hi Jennie, I love you so much, your laugh is really cute. My mum took 2 bin bags of yarn to the charity shop (thrift store), argh i could of had it...your yarn haul and baskets are beautiful, I'm so glad you done one in dk weight as i can do one as most my stash is dk yarn. You could make a little pillow to go in the bottom of the cat beds if that helps? Anyways keep being your awesome self love how you brighten up my day x Ann from Uk ❤
Jennie, 42:52 the J hook is a 6.0 mm. I found your channel and really like the way you are making your patchwork blanket. I'm going to join you and make a blanket, but with 20 st and 15 rows in your pattern.
I saw the shawl in a ball, we must be just missing each other!! I'll be in Southampton today to see my new dentist. I'm going to stop into Good Stuff Thrift after my appointment.
What do you do to your store thrifted yarn to be sure any possible bed bugs are killed? I havent bought any yet because someone I know that lived in a older half double house, who she herself is very clean, was invaded with bedbugs by her neighbor. And of course it was in the bedroom & her closet. I thought about putting them in a laundry bag & tossing in a hot dryer for 45 minutes which is supposed to kill them.
I visually inspect every skein of yarn while still in the store, even at Joann's and Michael's. I look for dead bugs, babies, carcasses...of any kind of bug, any evidence of bugs. If I see anything I don't buy it. I have never brought home any bugs. If your neighbor had an infestation I wouldn't risk it. All it takes is one bug!
My favorite vintage yarn is Red Heart Burnt Orange they no longer make this color, which was my favorite color, it was a bright orange I will not buy the Carr I tor the pumpkin they are not the color I like
I am so excited for you. Almost 6,000 subscribers.
So close!
I use Puzzle all the time. Blankets take 3-4 skein.
I was thinking about using the Puzzle yarn for a Granny in Rows blanket. Just have to do some math and make sure that I have enough yarn.
You don't look old enough to be around in the 70's! I graduated from high school in the mid 70's. Thanks for sharing your crocheting with us! Shawna
Oh thank you! I'm definitely older than I look, lol

You can get the price from the website.
The puzzle yarn would make a nice basket😁
Yes it would. I'm thinking of using it in a Granny in Rows blanket
Love your notebook cover. You are so creative.
I had fun with it!

Arlo is a handsome boy. I have used duct tape to hold my bumper in place until I can find a new one.

I never thought of using some cotton yarn. Brilliant idea. I will definitely try it next time. Thank you.
The red heart here is called spotlight saver. It has a blues and greens. I have used It but it is classed as a ten ply.
Love your baskets!
Thank you

That is awesome!
That loop yarn is pretty & I'd say it's Primary colors. I can see me using it as an edge trim on a scarf or poncho or on a bag.
That loop yarn makes me smile every time I look at it!!

Premier Puzzle doesn't center pull, at least in my experience. But it works up nice.
Thanks for the tip.
Hello Jennie
Hope no one was hurt in the car “incident”
Take care 🤲🏼💐😊
No injuries but my husband does feel really bad for hitting a light pole with my minivan.
Jennie, 42:52 the J hook is a 6.0 mm. I found your channel and really like the way you are making your patchwork blanket. I'm going to join you and make a blanket, but with 20 st and 15 rows in your pattern.
When I'm recording I seem to have trouble remembering the millimeters, thank you. How big will your squares be with the changes? Just curious.
About 6 inches with a 4.0 mm hook😊
Lol, after I watched this I ran out to Joann and 2A. Got a lot of shawl in a ball at 2A.
I saw the shawl in a ball, we must be just missing each other!! I'll be in Southampton today to see my new dentist. I'm going to stop into Good Stuff Thrift after my appointment.
What if you ad more rows on your cat bed and fold it over, so that the side is doubled and maybe will stand?!🤔
Oh, I like that idea!! I can try it.

Hi
Hello
Hi Jennie. I hate loop yarn.
Hello
