Sorry about the audio on this one!! Thank you for watching with us!!
For a backup source, the sound is amazing, man. I'd say don't sweat it.
Next time run your audio to background noise filter. It works great
Oh I did lol what you heard in the first few minutes was heavily filtered, couldn’t do much more without destroying the quality.. - John
@@JerzeyBoyz I guess I should watch the video before commenting... LOL
They show a sign during the credits: that place at the end is New Vegas.
It's sad that most reactors seem to stop before those graphics come up, and I'd love to have reactions to those.
Neither of us have played New Vegas so don’t know that we would’ve gotten it anyway lol
All good, can't plz everyone 🤙🏾 @@JerzeyBoyz
Always better to post the bad audio version than to fake a second reaction. Don't trip to hard, technical issues happen.
Finally had the chance to catch up on the reactions to this one. Glad you guys liked it! I'm already excited for season 2 whenever we get it 😂
In the end all of our main characters got what they were looking for at the start. And none of them liked it.....
Such a good point!
Glad you got to the end so I can't spoil you any more.
Some points:
1) The Ghouls family does not appear to be in 33 based on the records we've seen so far. Also Barb was a senior executive, and that was a vault for junior executives.
2) The Ghoul said his family. We don't know if he brought his daughter to Barb or not. If he did, he's looking for Barb and Janey. There's also the possibility Janey and her dad survived in the wasteland for a while, and she had kids with another survivor. Being a ghoul has to do with exposure to radiation, and we don't know Coops whole history with it.
3) Based on the credits, they're going to New Vegas.
ETA:
4) Barb is not in charge of Vault Tec. She's just a high-ranking peon.
Coop's car is a 1954 Kaiser Darrin (not in the past games), but Bud's Messerschmitt Kabinenroller is similar to the one in the game the "Flea"
Cannot wait for season 2! All our main characters have big arcs to pursue, and I am here for it. Maximus being a Knight in the Brotherhood is indeed the best place he can be to get the resources he can to find Lucy and hopefully change their chapter of the BoS from the inside. Dane coming in clutch, respect.
They have hazmat suits and the power armor itself provides a ton of radiation protection. They could have sent some soldier out in power armor or suits, and grabbed the daughter, to take her to a vault. Everyone on the surface didn't just immediately die; just most of them.
Lucy's mom became a ghoul because Hank left her to die in the blast. According to Moldaver, "he took the children, and he burned that city to the ground . . ."
It's heavily insinuated in the games that China dropped first. Similarly, it's heavily insinuated in show that Vault Tec dropped first.
All the show really told us is that Vault Tec would be willing to drop, not that they actually ended up doing it. Big difference.
China was given good reasons to do so too; after agreeing not to, US continued research into FEV (Forced Evolutionary Virus).
You saw a tiny glimpse of that in the second episode during the introduction of Siggi Wilzig, the Enclave scientist.
I'm sure we're gonna see more of that in the next season.
Fun fact: the code Hank enters is the release date of the first Fallout game.
My thinking is the ghoul got his daughter to a vault then didn't go in the vault because he went home to get his dog. Even though he was split from his wife I am sure she instructed him where to take her in case things went pear shaped. She seems like more of the voice for those in charge, rather than the one who came up with the ideas. She's the Vault-Tec representative, not head.
Deactivating the cold fusion generator is probably a very complicated procedure, and I doubt the Brotherhood has the expertise to do it without blowing themselves to kingdom come. Since the power is already being distributed to whatever is still running in the city, and since cold fusion produces a small excess of power, there would be no way to control its spread. I would imagine that eventually there would be a problem with what to do with the excess power, but it would be a long time away.
Many vaults. I think Cooper got the kid to one but they didn't let him in since he had divorced Barb.
...such an amazing series! I love RPG's, but only fantasy types, but after watching this TV-series I have been tempted to try FALLOUT...but still don't know. lol Great reaction on first season guys! 🙂👍❤
...and it's so true "War never changes"...the components in wars are all the same!
Great job on this series of videos! Can’t wait for season 2!
Thank you!!
This show is so damn good. Never played the games but it didn't feel "gamey" like some other adaptations. Just a really great story. Can't wait for season 2.
Agreed!!
The really ironic thing about the destruction of Shady Sands is that it was started by vault dwellers.
that's not ironic...since Vault Tec managment dropped the bombs in the first place.
That blasts was not actually that large, about quarter of Hiroshima bomb. They have time to cover. Problem of war at 2077 were that bombs was a lot. Lore says that about hundred small bombs on every large city like L.A., Boston, Washington or Vegas.
@20:15 I don't think Max will be in the position to rebuild Shady Sands, or make the Brotherhood better ... at least not yet. While "knight" is a higher rank, in the end the "elder" are the ones who make the decisions.
Meh. He doesn’t have beef with Moldaver. They seem to be on the same side. Inasmuch as one can be on a side in wasteland.
