Underrated pick for Banner is severance and flechette storm. You can spam sandwich sever and unravel absolutely everywhere. Pair with Monte Carlo or a pugilist weapon(or god forbid both) and yeah, mass debuffing entire rooms with sever is pretty fun

So, I dont know if this is a known bug but today I figured out that strongholds' "perfect guard" charges insanely fast to 100 stacks in a friendly rift. Just stand in a healing rift and block with stronghold. Idk if it is worth investigating, but if anyone finds a use for it, it is definetly you!
That would be super easy to take advantage of, as long as you have a teammate that is willing to play support. Dropping a rift before engaging will be plenty enough. If they're willing to go further in support, Cenotaph Mask plus a few ways to quickly gain some rift ability energy and make some orbs (Woven Mail) will be extremely useful. Constant healing + mad damage resistance + constant heavy ammo is every Stronghold main's dream.
in my opinion the changes actually messed up strongholds, you can''t instantly block after a heavy attack anymore which completely messes you up in endgame content...
that guarding thing is _really_ unfortunate. I'm not going to call it unusable, but it really defeats the purpose of a sword in the highest tier difficulties.
I'm annoyed with the nerf in pvp. Its mostly a nerf in terms of stronghold overall but I think non-stronghold got better. I'm gonna need time to test it. The rework is confusing
yeah.. I did some testing with PVP damage vs Stronghold and I could really feel how much more damage I was taking. I also love running Stronghold + Valiant Charge + Throne Cleaver for PVP (it's super fun in mayhem as well since you can 1v1 roaming supers) but I suppose I'll need to be even more careful now.
I have the sensation that Stronghold is currently nerfed in PVP. When we were able to block like à hundred hits, now we die with 12 revolver hits with SH and 10-11 without. Anybody know what happen ?
Currently farming for a flash counter and counter attack roll on crown splitter. Add in stronghold and banner fall and you have a 20% debuff and 90% damage buff. Sounds fun
funny is how many perks recently were nerfed and give no bonus as enhanced, frenzy, controlled burst, same as fast ball, game says increases throw distance, yet community says only travels 25% faster same range

I believe all swords now have the same D.R. values, provided the Guard Resistance stats are the same. Max Guard Resistance grants a 95% D.R., which if you use Stronghold, all swords will grant you the same amount of resistance at 95%.
Any advice for ammo economy using lament? Or better yet heavy drops? I saw the artifact mod elemental munitions but haven’t unlocked it yet. The double special “nerf” is so unfortunate hopefully it makes up for it
Atm not much I can say other than use special weapons with Special Finisher and just play more carefully with your ammo, and maybe try to take advantage of Tireless Blade as much as you can for some ammo refund.

i remove surrounded, its a joke for 1.5s majority of time its nothing, vorpal is better here, still nothing beats whirlwind, now we have since last season 3 swords solar, arc, void with whirwind and after 10 hits 30% buff, too bad those are only adaptive swords. we need void caster sword. same with stasis and strand caster
This just pisses me off more that warlocks are still getting pissed on when it comes to swords. All the other classes are getting these cool perks and a new effects to their swords well we hit the basic bitch vortex frame with nothing good on it
@@loiez117 The resist doesn't reduce the damage of (some?) physics damage. This may be an intended feature as tanking physics damage shouldn't be something that you do regularly. Although, I don't have confirmation on that.

There's not confirmation on Bungie's part, whether or not its a bug, and unfortunately we just have to deal with it.
problem with that shit game, many perks dont work, all due servers control everything. and all is lagging. even stupid menu like helm, over time it loads icons or not, same is with voltshot, one time after reload it work, 80% of time it doesnt. same is with duelist trance, after kill you get +60 or +65 charge rate, but i dont see more right click spam, same with demolitionist on kills even when i do it solo. next that crap elemental orbs its a joke like tangles, another shit that blocks objectives

I love using the new aspect with black talon for consistent uptime, stronghold healing plus woven mail fulfills my titan tanking fantasy
