How to play :
1.Download and Install PCXS2
2.Download and Install Deamon Tools
3.Download BIOS, without them you cant play!
4.Download DQ8 ISO
5.Follow Steps in the Video

Many people write the iso file link is down, it's aktually down, try to search on Google for other iso files I swear there must be another, because it's been many years since I used a pc and can't edit it now I hope all fans from this game can play it on pc! - Ігри
This Video is soo old, but when you came up here, you will realize the ISO File Link is broken, just search for another one on google, it´s easy to find, like "CoolRooms", best site for all emulators, thank you all for the Thumb ups, and have fun :)

hey can you download Deamon toolsone one computer then install it on a seperate one that has no internet access? CUz that's the way I play my ps2 isos.

Die kannst die Video Einstellungen ändern bei PCXS2, musst halt bisschen rumspielen und schauen welche Einstellung für dich perfekt ist, und die Sprache kommt auf die ROM Datei an, Deutsche gibt es sicher auch, musst nur bisschen googlen ;)

hey probier mal eine neu installation oder vll ist ein programm outdated, das Video ist schon älter, hab das damals mit einem Gamer PC gemacht und hatte keine Probleme lg :)

Every iso I try to us ends up with the same "ISO path not found" any idea on how to correct this? Am I just downloading the wrong files?
Iso files may broken, search on Google, there must be one that works I think

And it's a long time I used a pc haha, it doesn't matter where the file is, when it works just select it in the Programm
mine looks fine but is unplaybale jerkey and the audio cuts in and out the entire time during dialog. what are the best settings to use?
Maybe its the ISO file or u need to do some set ups for your game, sorry man this was years ago, now the new dragon Quest is out on ps4 :)))

I cant put it on Spanish,i think the bios for spanish is 10/02/2016, when i run the game it appear 2 memomery cards and the disc,i cant skip that and it annoys becouse i dont understand so much Enlgish help m8

Wenn ich DQ8 starte öffnet sich nur das PS Menu. Dort ist eine Disc und zwei Kasetten abgebildet. Wenn ich auf die Disc klicke macht es eine Datei in der Kasette. Diese Datei kann ich dann nur löschen oder kopieren. Habe ich was falsch gemacht?
Check mal ob du alle Schritte richtig befolgt hast, auch mit der BIOS lg

seltsam, wenn du wirklich alles gemacht hast wie ich sollte es funktionieren, Check mal deine Windows Updates, Firewall oder sonstiges, bzw probier eine Neuinstallation vielleicht hast du etwas übersehen LG

Hey, hab vor 2 Jahren schonmal bisschen gefragt etc und habs auch eingerichtet bekommen. Nur ich depp habs nach dem durchspielen wieder gelöscht :/ Ist die PS2 BIOS und die Seite für die DQ8 ISO noch richtig und Legit/Virenfrei? Wäre cool, wenn du noch antwortest bzw. das weißt :) LG!^^
Hey, wie du bemerkt hast, ist das Video schon etwas älter^^, aber die Seite "Coolroom" ist zuverlässig, hatte auch nie Probleme, wegen der PS2 Bios, da gibts nach 9 Jahren vielleicht schon was besseres oder neueres, ich kann das alles nicht zu 100% bestätigen, aber ich hab genau die PS2 Bios im Link auch damals ohne Probleme verwendet, probier es einfach mal aus :=)

@@marcel6805 Ich empfehle dir das so zu machen wie in dem Video, es ist schon eine halbe Ewigkeit her seitdem ich den Emulator benutzt habe, bei mir sind nie Fehlermeldungen oder Probleme aufgetreten, bei vielen anderen schon, dazu gibt es auch verschiedene Gründe und Lösungen im Internet, ein Leistungsstarker PC ist wichtig und von Vorteil damit das Stabil läuft, die ISO File ist deine sogenannte Digitale Disc, das BIOS ist das Gehirn und der Emulator die Plattform könnte man so sagen, hoffe dennoch das du DQ8 zum laufen bringst, für mich ist es und bleibt es das beste RPG aus der DQ Reihe, bin immer aktiv und kann gerne helfen soweit es mir möglich ist :)
@@Deinsensai Jup bin nach langer Zeit auch wieder auf DQ8 gestoßen und muss es unbedingt nochmal durchspielen, es ist einfach der beste Teil!

I played The Game in this Video with Keyboard and mouse, there must be Something in The Emulator to configurate, or there are some Files in The Internet to Download, Like a preset and you can Change The Keys, try or in Google i Hope you can do it :)

So Leute, ich benutze seit Jahren kein Pc mehr und falls ihr Probleme beim Spielen vorfindet, die outdated file könnt ihr ganz leicht im Internet finden, ich komm leider nicht mehr dazu es neu hochzuladen, bei controller Problemen einfach in den pcsx2 settings gucken, ob alles richtig eingestellt wurde bzw ein setting vorhanden ist mit tastenbelegung, bei weiteren Problem->Google lg Basti ps: ich hoffe dennoch jeder Fan bringt es zustande den 8ten teil am pc laufen zu lassen^^ wenn nicht im Verlaufe des Jahres kommt eine "fortsetzung" raus von DG, rundenbasiert und Mörder Grafik
