We have just removed both of our back seats and replaced with a false floor and draw fit out. The company that did our build instructed us to go to the licensing department and update our registration to state that changes had been made from a seven seater to a five seater, also had to inform our insurance company. We live in WA so I’m not sure about other state’s car registrations but worth noting for legal reasons and compliance. Safe travels, love your videos 😎👍
Hey you should get some of those ice packs that you freeze & put under a Towel in Rocco’s Crate to help keep him cooler heading for the scorching WA heat & I doubt he ever feels any AC way in the back .
Hi guys, great vid - couple of tips for you.... 1. Use loctite 222 on all screws, will help stop them working loose on rough roads. 2. Instead of pool noodles we used a heavier tubing from Clarke Rubber - black denser rubber $38 for 1.2m lenght Looking forward to following your travels up the WA coast.
Bit late I know but when you clean your air con you have filters on the site you can remove with a blunt knife or back of a small spoon. No need to remove the bottom plate. Only just watching tonight so you may have been told by now. Safe travels anyway guys keep up the good work Dai & Ange NZ
You are doing well to get everything ready for your trip. I’m with you re the chemical smells given off by the chemicals. We have had a SOG toilet extraction system on our hybrid for 5 years now and it is fantastic. No chemicals and no smells. Saving money as you only have to replace the charcoal filter every 6 to 12 months depending on usage. Well worth the effort to install and you can do a self install if you are handy.
with your ibis 4 you can pull the filters out without taking that plastic plate out. There like a clip on each side if u get a butter knife you can pop it out you don't need to do it to often
Just a suggestion....maybe check the vents behind the fridge and any other vents you might have for large gaps. We couldn't understand where the little flies and midgies were coming in and worked out that we needed to put some fine mesh midgy screen over the vents. Even our front door screen had large hole mesh so we replaced it with finer mesh screen.
Just to be safe I would put some cushioning on the floor by the bunk bed I’ve never known a kid to not fall from the top bunk I remember falling a few times when I was a kid and a floor cushion would’ve been nice 🤕
Hi Guys loving your videos. Very funny. I live in Tom Price and visited the Ningaloo many times. At this time of year the weather is hot. You can expect to have days in the low 40’s every day till March. It is hot. You can expect fires and we will throw in a cyclone later in the off season which is about now. The fishing is amazing. When travelling up north you must stop in at Quobba Station the fishing for Spangled Empore , Queen fish and heaps of other species id mind blowing. But be prepared for some hot weather. When in Tom Price please look us up. We would love to show case the Pilbara. Safe travels and enjoy.😊
Put some paddocks on those overpriced gas bottles, Always have the lid open on stove , even when using grill or oven. Check the manual for stove, should be a gas shut function when lid is down - possible faulty - warranty
Well done guys! You are both guns. Everything looks so good & I can't wait till your on the Rd. Funny thing iv booked a trip to Perth & driving to exmouth for 10days just after Chrissy. Iv never been. Didn't realise thats where u guys are headed. Amazing!
I’m so excited for you guys 🎉 Just a hot tip your stove shouldn’t turn on unless the top lid is open it’s a safety thing so you can’t turn gas on by accident !! Hope that helps ❤Loving all the little accessories, really looking homely 💕💕
hey sweet cheeks! awesome exciting times ahead! not sure if you realise but your ibis 4 aircon vents can be pulled out & cleaned without taking the main face off, all you need is a knife to slide them out from each side xx
Looking forward to following your trip. Could I suggest you put a chain/stainless steel cable etc and padlock on those gas bottles. Knowing how much they cost, you need to protect your investments. Same goes for your outboard on the back of the van if you have'nt done so already. There are opportunistic sh*ts out there who will happily relieve you of your valuables. You will find a number of caravan parks will send you daily SMS text messages when you are booked into their parks, warning you to secure your valuables etc etc. Not trying to spook you, but the reality is, there are thieves out there, but if you secure your goods you will find all will be good. Cheers, Dave
Hey guys ,put pool noodles over your plumbing pipes under your van to protect them from rocks 👍
good idea I will do that thank you so much for the heads up

Hey Alex

Your going to find you won’t be allowed in a lot of places that are national parks with Rocco

Why can’t Rocco sit with the girls, he would be more comfortable and cooler. Too hot for the poor bugger.
hey how are you?
