- Going into Cologne no one had any hopes in Mongolz. and i can understand why. they come from the region most would call the weakest region in CSGO, they do not have any stars that are known to the EU and NA comunities and overall as a team should not be able to get far.
so when they qualified for groups and met Heroic, well we saw a different story and how Mongolz almost pulled off the impossible against Heroic. and created a massive controversy on the way

@@_AGONOR sorry yes! I’m thinking of Heroic 22 - 18 mongolz from the same series as the mirage game. Your insight into the mongolz anti strat against the apts AWP peak made me think of it. Watching the overpass game live I was really impressed by heroics CT calling to comeback from 13-7. Especially given the context of the first mirage loss, and the immense pressure given how much they were the favourites.

I really enjoyed watching this! I think in round 11 when sjuush was upper wood the one of the dropped AKs actually saved 910 from getting headshotted through smoke :D i love these small details u will only see if you watch the demos closely

3:09 this smoke isnt usually used as oneway to peek top mid tho, its put to slow down T's and make it more anxious for them to make any further progress

7:50, the connector one way smoke is not just to hold underpass and peek top mid. It is to also help the connector player hold short. The smoke prevents connector player from getting double peek from bottom con and short. It also discourage T from taking connector control as they would have to push through the smoke.
Normally blitz should die walking short but he took the risk and is lucky there is no short player. Or an awper holding short.
Its a high rish high reward play. That almost worked out to win the round, if sjuush's high risk, high reward play did not work out hahaha. But yeah. Forgot to say it in the video, so great add-on
