The Outlander Sport is a solidly built, dependable vehicle that is comfortable and drives well. Factor in the huge manufacturer rebates Mitsubishi often includes and it's a no-brainer purchase. The only downside is weaker power and lower MPGs compared to others. I find the power good enough though for most situations and I'd personally give up a few MPG in exchange for the proven old technology. Both of my parents bought new Outlander Sports. A 2015 GT and a 2019 ES. They both love theirs and they've been problem-free. I've driven both and like them so much I'm considering one for myself.
I just bought one (2020) about a month ago, and I'm absolutely loving it. I got a great deal on it, it only had 30,000 miles, and because it was a "certified" car, I even got additional miles on the warranty. It rides well, handles fantastic, gets great gas mileage, and it's a comfortable car to be in. And it looks fantastic.💯 I bought a new organizer tray for the inside console compartment, and I was thinking of getting the smoke colored "hood guard" for it. Anyone ever install one?
