Hey Jim looks like a nice kit. I have not built a car model in a very long time ether. I used to detail the motors with sparkplug wires. I would use colored thread (yellow, blue, red or Black your choice) from the distributor to each sparkplug. It added more detail to the motors.

I used bell wire back in the day, used a marker to make them black.
Nice kit Jim…use to do them when I was a kid…never knew what happened to them…also, all myWW2 planes…just disappeared 🤷🏽♂️
