I play these every night and they really help me sleep although sometimes the stories and very intresting that I find it hard to sleep. I love these rainy stories, they make me feel very cozy just to lay in bed with my blanket and just play these. Ur voice is very soothing sometimes I even wake up and ur stories are still playing right next to me in my bed hahhahhaha ☺️
I love that-- I do try to make them interesting and hope my voice is soothing enough that sleep comes easily. The rainy stories and sounds are often my favourite to listen to. Thank you for writing and being part of this sanctuary!
Almost every time I listen to a story from you that includes "a friend" to bring along with us in the story journey, I bring along myself as a young girl... I find it very healing and comforting to provide "her" with safe, fun experiences with a true friend (me!)... This video is a wonderful story that we (me and young me) haven't gotten to the end yet... 😴 Great job, Michelle!!
I love that you do this! It's so wonderful... I remember as a kid I would do the opposite and imagine my older self. I knew I would love her for making it to NYC and living the life she wanted. Now I like to consider my 90-year-old self often. Hope you enjoy the ending when you get there!

When I was pregnant I used the Expectful sleep stories and they really helped and a believe if you created some similar stories it would be great for mothers everywhere! This was so much fun, Michelle! I haven't done a lot of beach camping, but my dad took me and my three little sisters camping by rivers and creeks throughout our childhood and, with your permission, I went back to my 7 year-old self bringing my sisters with me. One summer we spent a week in Oak Creek Canyon and had a great time holding hands as we made our way up the wide creek, looking at the little creatures living in the recesses of ponds formed by slippery, algae-covered rocks. We pulled up long slimy strands of vines and wrapped them around our heads, our necks and our waists. The four of us were best friends and it was such a great experience to remember and relive. Thank you for taking me back to a simpler time 🙏 Sharing!
What beautiful memories! I camped much of my childhood with my grandparents and those core memories popped up a lot on this recent trip.The smells of campfires (and even citronella) always bring me back!

I had the courage so I put down my lightening rod book and plugged into your voice. The irony of the story is that mini version of me just lost his best friend Rusty who was hit by a car the one single time he wandered away. So I had to explain to the little maudlin version of me who was never that exuberant and carefree that within 5 months of nagging his mourning parents for a dog to fill his heart with love again he would get one. The only present his father would ever go out if his way and buy for him without delegating it to his mother. That friend would live 18 years and be a great source of joy. I have often wondered if love was ever worth the pain. Of course it is. It’s a beautiful heartfelt story that besides making me cry offered some truly peaceful and wonderful feelings of gratitude for so many things that I inconveniently forget
How sad, but I am glad the nagging paid off. I nagged my parents for pets more than anything in my childhood. I lived in my own animal sanctuary as a kid. We have to continuously focus on the love. It's easy to question if it is worth it when we are in pain or grief, but throughout an entire lifetime, the golden moments and simple pleasures are far more ubiquitous.
