I had a back sting ray bike with a banana seat. I felt so cool driving it around. Having a love like Martha and Ike is a special sweet thing. This is a gentle sweet story told by a sweet author. I am grateful for the sweetness for my new year. I’m grateful for you.
@@MichellesSanctuary it was black with silver sparkle seat and hand grips. I was 8 my uncle owned a bike store and I just got my black English racer stolen after I forget I rode it to school and left it there. Someone stole it that evening and I felt so stupid and guilty for leaving it. My uncle had me pick out a new bike and these just came out. Like my 69 firebird I wish I kept it. I gave it to a younger cousin who demolished it. I remember how it smelled the plastic had a sweet odor to it and was really uncomfortable but it just looked so cool. Some of the things we lay to rest in our memories when ignited just bring back the sense of joy we had with them. You have this magnetic capability of bringing out this stuff.
@@larrymarcus3176 I think that's interesting to consider and I am always recognizing how every object has a story. I try and tell them whenever someone asks about something I am wearing or value. And those sensory perceptions-- the smells, the touch-- they get so deeply embedded in our memory banks that they can be easily brought back. As a kid I was obsessed with my grandmother's red vinyl interior that had the texture of licorice nibs (without the stickiness) and I probably spent hours of my life in the back seat focusing on its pattern.
The story of Ike and Martha’s love was so pivotal to this narrative…I have often wondered about these two favorite characters. What a wonderful transition into the autumn! Thank you, Michelle.
Michelle. This sounds wonderful. I have a special request for next week. A story about Australia the animals and beautiful sights. My bday is tomorrow and I had been planning a trip to Australia. But I fell very sick and then my Aunt died. . I as my 90 yo moms little sister (83). I am mommas caregiver. None of my siblings help. I’d have to get nurses to stay with her while I’m gone. Need the vacay and Australia has always been my dream. If you can do a meditation sleep story at least I can make it in my dreams. Thanks for considering it. Love you and all you do.
Please please tell us a wonderful Australia story with Koalas and kangaroos. The aborigines and the different beautiful sights to behold. The barrier reef scuba diving would be awesome. When o get there if I get better the diving is number one on my list!! Thanks Michelle for helping dreams come true.

😢I listen to night time stories and meditations because sleeping is very difficult and this is because I recently lost my young son. It’s heartbreaking to say the least. I was enjoying this story until the part where a child drowned in the lake. I had to turn off immediately therefore I can’t comment on the full story but perhaps the sun shimmering in the water as ……… Did it help the story having an image of a child drowning in the water.? Thanks for helping me drift off and then having me awake for the rest of the night. 😢
I’m so sorry for your loss. And also, when writing about this i can understand the inference but I had not written about a child dying but I can see how it could be interpreted that way. I wrote about a young child losing something and being afraid of swimming and having a kind soul take the time to assuage that fear and support him for the rest of his life.
I’m sorry to have to respond but a child drowning is not really appropriate for this story because up to that point it was a gentle and lovely story of people in love. If you, the narrator feels it adds depth to the content then by all means carry on but for the sake of people in the depths of depression and bereavement perhaps a warning at the start would be helpful. I choose meditation to help take my mind off my personal trauma. There is no cure but a gentle happy story told by you is helpful. I’m just making you aware of the souls out there who are struggling.
Once again I am sorry and will modify the podcast and audio where I can to be more clear. When writing this the focus for me was losing of something of value as a little child and it creating something scary that can be overcome. It happened to me as a child, and was not death-related at all.
Please let me know what would be the most soothing story or location for you and bring you a sense of peace. I will write whatever topic/location you desire.
@@MichellesSanctuary I was more than happy to listen to you narrating perfectly a very welcome story of a happy place which is perfect to take reality and gloss it up into a perfect place with love surrounding. A bit of fantasy too because we all know that perfect doesn’t exist but when you’re trying to blank out reality you turn to stories on the internet. Some meditations are excellent and some go round in circles. Your story was excellent and very soothing. I just found the image of a child drowning destroyed the fantasy and threw me back to a place I’m trying to put behind me. I’m sorry to be the one to complain but your meditation and stories are about escaping.

I had extremely low hemoglobin so I spent the past couple days in the hospital getting blood transfusions but today I’m feeling like a new person. So happy to be back in my own bed with your meditation ❤😊
