Labour are going to reform the NHS, God help us!! All pensioner will taken off the waiting lists one problem solved. Then they will blame the Tories for allowing them to be put on the treatment list in the first place.

Really, remind us again who's been in power for the last 14 years? Labour are not true Labour, Conservative are not true Conservative both parties are two cheeks of the same backside, both z.... t Neo Liberal Globalist WEF Globalists puppets, owned lock stock and barrel, amateur self serving career politicians, they are not in charge of anything. Dr Bob Gill on the great NHS heist, privatisation, the Naylor review and report says it all, also the late great John Pilger's report the dirty war on the NHS, there's no excuse for ignorance in this day and age, You have the Internet use it, watch alternative, with real independent journalism for the real info on this and all world affairs,

In all the times I’ve been in a hospital setting I have never seen one thing done quickly. It’s like everyone is on sedatives!

That would be the imported Nurses. I worked with 3 South African female Nurses many years ago. They ambled everywhere, no sense of urgency in any way shape or form But they were first out of the door if the fire alarm went.

Regarding NHS treatment, here is an example. My mum had a problem, got e referral to thelocal NHS consultant for treatment. Got told there was a nine month waiting list because he was so busy. She decided to go private because she was in so much pain. Cashed in her ISA and got her appointment. Guess who her consultant was. The same bloody consultant who had no problem doing her procedure almost immediately. Thid is why doctors are so tired. They are too busy raking in the cash of desperate patients.

I know for a fact our, hospitals and doctors do private work within the NHS as I worked in a hospital and the private work gets done before NHS work, as they can earn more doing the private work. It's a total disgrace!

Absolutely true. My mum was told by consultant A that she had to wait 9 months for her procedure but could have it done almost immediately if she paid by surgeon B. A and B were the same person.

Its not being active its the diet they eat and drink is the main cause of obesity look at the nurses in the NHS most of them are overweight!

Another report on the NHS. How much did that cost? As a matter of interest the NHS in Scotland is every bit as bad as England and Wales but it is run by different management. So that begs the question what’s the common factor? Too much political interference. Ministers who are clueless? DEI?

Labour reforming the NHS will mean spending billions for less results. They will set up some new committees so their mates can have high paying jobs and will employ more management and HR diversity managers as we really need those things more than Doctors and Nurses

Starmer said "No more money for the N.H.S. without reform" which i agree with but where was the reform for the railway drivers when they got inflation busting wage rises to an already high salary?? So it appears principals and logic are of no use in politics just the use of power when one has such a massive majority in Parliament though only 32 % of the voters voted for them .More and more i am feeling like i live in a dictatorship.

I worked in the NHS as a receptionist/admin and the amount of made up jobs are unreal . Why does it take 2 people to measure and weigh people at a clinic ? There are not enough people in the right places and too many in others . Absolutely ridiculous .

Anything linked to the civil service or local authorities is failing and been getting much worse over the last 10 years. It's certainly not about funding because that's gone up significantly over the same period so there's clearly something else going badly wrong. Suspect it's managenent failures because of incompetence.

Bureaucracy is a first love for politicians because it gives them and their friends very lucrative salaries , end of story.

Maybe the NHS should go bk to heslth care & not politics! Start by waving the flag for the service that is supposed to serve all.

the problem is no parental control or family time. back when i was born you came home from school and mum had your tea ready, i knew how to cook at very young age, in school i also did cookery. i had to do jobs for my mum, now kids are all in different rooms and no one is together. how many actually sit down together and have their main meal together? CUT back time on phones, but families have no one keeping them together, they eat poop rubbish, quick easy and highly calorific, because parents a lot of them work hard and they say they have no time to cook, but thats what a slow cooker is for. makes me so mad i sponser kids in kenya who go to school everyday, love school, most dont have parents just family. the kids now are too privilidged.

I used to work for the NHS. I left 30 years ago - when I could see the way it was going. Successive governments, regardless of party, have just thrown money at it without actually trying to address any of the issues. Firstly, there needs to be more GPs, but that is difficult when they keep building huge estates with no services like local surgeries, leading to too great a workload for the GPs. No GP = clogged up A and E departments. Secondly, STOP THE ADMIN STUPIDITY. There are nurses, physios etc out there with FIVE levels of management above them and all with the supposed role of changing and interfering with their work. I have even known there to be a 'manager of the variable lunch break' in a local hospital!! Wards were closed, doctors, nurses and cleaners got moved or sacked. BUT THE MANAGERS NEVER DID.
If you want to sort the NHS out - get rid of managers, and stop the government to keep demanding stupid 'figures' and statistics.

To sort out the NHS they need to sort out Social care. I worked in Social care for 40 years during that time councils sold off their care homes to private companies many who had no idea of care and just wanted a profit.Home care was also taken over by private companies again who had no experience and wanted a profit. Care work is seen as not imprtant and those at the sharp end of it are not appreciated or paid enough for the job they are doing. Until Social care both residential and in the home is looked at there will be people in hospital who do not need to be there

The country is f a r too overpopulated, ridiculously so, for both its modest size & anemic economic weight. There was a very, very good reason for Britain despatching tens of millions ( Ireland even more so ) of its woebegone folk to all corners of the Empire & beyond. Malthus was right ! And now ? People have tended to stay, far too much, lately,..AND have had to put up with millions of peasants & grifters from every medieval corner of Pakistan, Mali, Syria, & G-d only knows where else !

Since my full thyroidectomy which my gp couldn't diagnose an overactive thyroid 😡 leaving me very ill for over 18 months... ive seen another side to the nhs..firstly they wast so much money , in my case i cant stomach the thyroid medication, i have server side effects from them as i have gut and stomach issues colitis ect but for the past 5 years the nhs gps and endocrinologists have wasted hundreds of pounds in thyroid medication , most of it they knew would not work for me so in the bin it went on on it continues just throwing £300 to £600 pounds of thyroid medication away.
Its came to a head this year when my thyroid bloods were so bad my son got me a private prescription of natural dessicated thyroid medication [ no awfull fillers ] ive been on them 8wks and wow!! no awful side effects, im starting to feel myself again..but i was upset to learn the nhs do not pescribe ndt as its not licensed 😡 so the solution by my gp is.....just stay on the synthetic thyroid medication just have bad blood results..🤦‍♀️ if you cant afford the private ndt😡 so i would be going back to having awfull stomach and bowel issues and no doubt be coming to the surgery complaining about how im feeling...when all you'd need to do is supply me with the correct medication and then i could get on with my life and hopefully never darken the gps surgery again 👏 but thats way to sensible for the nhs to workout...doh!!!!
