Sephiroth do you sell online courses in english? It will be a great ideia if you do that, because I think that your videos here on UA-cam are amazing and they help a lot people who want to work in game art area (like me), so it would be awesome to make an online course with you as a teacher. I've seen your videos with digital paiting for games, and you rock! 👏👏👏👏

Thank you! I sell tutorials on my Gumroad, and in the future, I will create online courses about isometric. Also I need to translate on English basic courses that I already have on the Russian language.

It also can be done faster in illustrator or inkscape.

yes making the grid is faster in Illustrator, .. but the point of this video for making a isometric guide for digital painting in photoshop...
i used to make the guide in illsutrator, then import it to photoshop so i can paint it on top of it..
but with this guide, its a faster workaround if i can just make the guides in photoshop

Pretty cool stuff, but this tutorial could be done in under a minute.
You just have to record an action of you rotating an object in 45 degrees and then squashing it to 50% the height. A single sentence explains it, but a short video should be more than enough to show everything, 1 minute at best.
15 minutes would be more reasonable for an actual "Drawing in isometric tips" sort of tutorial. Consider doing a short version, since 15 minutes is too long for something so simple and we have no time to waste.

Be grateful he even listened to our requests and made a video that beginners can follow. If you feel like it's not worth your time then simply close the video

@@internetexplorer7880 Good thing he listened to requests, but I still think what I said is important feedback.
A "drawing in isometric" video would be far better for beginners rather than "ISOMETRIC GRID in one click!" especially because beginners need foundations and doing things in one click is not foundations.
If only the title was less clickbaity, I could easily delete my original comment as then it would make more sense. He goes through some pretty cool stuff about drawing in isometric and how it works and I understand he is capitalizing on the quick & easy to do kind of title in order to "sell" his video to people.
The thing is that there are 2 types of people browsing this kind of content on youtube:
      1. People that are actually looking into learning about the foundations of isometric drawing;
      2. People that already have an understanding of the foundations and are looking for ways of increasing speed and efficiency in their workflow.
The beginners you mentioned fit in the 1st type, who are definitely (or should be) looking into the basics and, naturally, longer videos that explain in-depth how things work.
However, people that fit into the 2nd type, who already understands most of it and only want to learn some software tricks to improve efficiency in, let's say, drawing an isometric grid, are looking for some short and quick tips on how to do that.
When you have a title that says "do ISOMETRIC GRID with one click", the following things are true:
      1. It is a video aimed mostly at showing a shortcut trick rather than foundations, which is not what a beginner should be looking for primarily (while it still can be useful, it will not help a beginner artist to straight-up jump into a shortcut before understanding the basics, which is pretty much laziness).
      2. It fools more experienced people into believing these is some tips on tricks you can use to make the process faster and easier. One could look at the length of the video and assume either that "this guy will talk forever on something that could be summarized into a sentence for sake of monetization" or even "there will be SEVERAL cool tips on how to make it better."
In conclusion, if the objective of this video was to reach beginner artists, I personally think that the title is not the best since beginners are supposed to learn the basics first. Even though the video actually covers some of it (which is neat!), the title sold it as somethings mostly focused on quick tips to improve speed, which is best for more experienced people. That being said, people that were just looking for a quick tip ended up in a 15-minute long video that could be 30-60 secs long, and if they watch the whole thing, they pretty much wasted precious time.
But yeah, I understand that showing beginners some quick shortcuts as in "you don't need to do all the work!" is very appealing and attracts views. I don't believe that is the mindset of Sephiroth since he did go into some basics anyways and has definitely put a lot of effort into his work himself, and while he did not do anything bad or immoral, it is a contribution to a huge library of videos that are way longer than they need to be and for the sake of monetization.
I am not here saying Sephiroth is an evil creature for wasting people's time or that his content is bad (which I really don't think it is), I am just sharing my thoughts on what he could possibly improve since this is recurring among several other art channels in this platform.
Speaking of longer than it needs to be, this reply of mine is rather long itself XD. I don't think that you have read all of it, but if you did, I hope I could illustrate my point better and why I personally believe that the video's title is not good for the actual content and why an actual ISOMETRIC GRID IN ONE CLICK could've been done in under a minute.
