They lost on votes. They did not have a big enough fan base then.
And the stupid thing about kingdom is that only the most popular groups in the world are allowed to win and since stray kids were literally being talked about more than basically any group they were destined to win I guess that's just the law if your not popular you lose if you're nearing bts level of popularity your basically guaranteed to win 😑

Funniest thing is that Mingi was worried about how his voice would sound bc he was sick during this recording but he still sounds AMAZING
I do wish they had done more b sides but since they're not from a big company and many people don't know their viral songs are actually from ateez, I can understand why they chose to show a lot of title tracks so that locals who find this might recognize a song and hear what else they have to offer

It's amazing how Ateez does not have a bad music, all are wonderful and self -astral, are songs that give you clafs in their live voices that I prevail in studio, Yunho my dear, your vocal makes me levitate, wow ... and mingi sick And gave a show. . We need part 2, dingo, please see this dingo music, I want to hear beyond them also in this killer voice .. they are so amazing !! I'm so proud of them. Our so much honor of being atticy, how proud of our cute and professional babies, it's not just beauty (they are not to blame for beautiful), it's "talent", some deaf and dismissed K-pop fans, "ate everything and They didn't even have crumbs ", this is Atez. We Atiny's, we will be supporting at all times, happy and sad, because we love you as human beings, with qualities and defects we all have. ATHEZ gift. You deserve everything we have won we love you.

I really enjoyed this but I really wish they did more of their b-sides like you said. The only b-sides they did were Utopia Fever and Empty Box(I actually really wanted them to do fever and utopia those are some of my favorite ateez songs) but I wish they did more, I was so sure they would do Be With You it's like the perfect ateez ballad song for a killing voice but they didn't 😭
Also some of their other more vocally driven b-sides, I imagined them doing The Letter and singing all the harmonies live I would've lost it if they did that. But still it's ateez giving us vocals I still really loved this!
I'd say the songs I wanted to see them do the most but they didn't were

Now I NEED my other ult group Dreamcatcher to do one, them and ateez are the two groups I've been wishing for to do killing voice the most 😭 If dreamcatcher ever do it I HOPE they perform A Heart of Sunflower it's my favorite kpop ballad and probably top 3 dreamcatcher songs. Just imagine the setlist, they go from Fairytale to Bon Voyage and ending it with Deja Vu

Hi! I've been thinking about getting into Dreamcatcher lately and was wondering what songs/videos should I start with?
I'd definitely recommend starting with the dystopia trilogy, Scream, Boca, Odd Eye. And then after that maybe Deja Vu because it's probably their most fan favorite song and it's absolutely beautiful. But if you have a specific genre or type of music that you like I can recommend some of their b-sides to you based on what you like!
After watching those 4 MVs maybe you could check out a guide there's a lot of really good ones.
Also 100% watch dreamcatcher videos from the channel insomniacy they have so many funny videos videos/ videos that help you get to know the members better, the best ones for seeing more about each members is the "This is dreamcatcher" series, they have one for each member like "This Is Handong" and it's clips about her, they have a 2020 version all the way up to 2023 for each member! But I say maybe watch those after watching a guide but if you don't want to watch a guide then you can watch those.
A really good guide I recommend is "An extensive guide to dreamcatcher 2023" it's really good and lists all the songs and which ones have music videos. And ofcourse after watching the 4 MVs you can go back and check out their other MVs they have a couple of different eras some have multiple albums some have only 1 and so on.

I'm seeing ATEEZ again in Atlanta! Woooo. Hopefully I don't tear up this time when I see them since it's my 2nd concert hahah it's still overwhelming just hearing them live. I didn't know they were doing a Killing Voice - this was an amazing surprise. My boys just continue to grow and gain popularity and I am thriving from their success. It make me so so happy.

OMG I was at both kcons too. And yes I agree, now that we know the lineup....who's gonna be the main act? Ateez owned kcon. There were big names too, but Ateez turned it into their playground. Love it! Ateezcon!!!
I'll be in Tacoma for the concert, flying in the day before. Can't wait. I'm soooo excited, it's the first time I've been able to get to one of their concerts live. I pinch myself daily. I'm also really excited that it's the first US performance of the setlist.

For me this just highlighted though that again, for me, personally, there's a clear divide between their style this past year or couple of years and their older stuff. For me that older stuff is clearly way more melodic and enjoyable. Not to say the newer songs aren't good, they are, but the style isn't really my cup of tea. You just see here how the newer style doesn't do justice to their actual voces as well. My wish would be for them to return to something like Answer, that kind of sound. Or Halazia even though it wasn't included here. Again NOT HATING in any way just saying my preference for their music style.

I totally get that. These past couple title tracks haven't really been my style either. Even though I prefer the recent b-sides as opposed to their older ones, I find myself wanting to listen to their older ones more. I'm not really sure why this is. Nostalgia? Vocals? Maybe it's the style change, but I feel like their newer albums/eps are missing a little something. The last title track I remember being really into was Halazia.

It is amazing how Ateez only has good songs and known to all, all are wonderful and self -astral, they are songs that give you chills listening to their voices live, which precedes in studio, jongho my dear, your vocal makes me levitate, wow. .. And Mingi was sick, so he was drinking more water, he was disrupted that his voice fails, but gave a show.Vocal kings, dance kings, performance kings. I would recommend when watching the MV's to also watch the dance practices to see how good the choreo is, and how well they dance/perform. I happened to catch one of their performances on UA-cam when Jongho was sitting on a stool, that voice sucked me all the way in. He’s definitely one of my favorite K-pop vocalists.
