It starts with us is definitely very heartwarming and it’s nice to see a happy continuation of lily’s life which was why I really like it however it didn’t really have a big plot like Colleen usually writes but she gave fans what they wanted and I personally thought it was a very realistic and beautiful read

Gabor Mate also wrote In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts which talks about historical trauma and its relation to addiction. It’s very interesting as well.

I literally just ordered Maybe In Another Life last night, with many other books. I also have her book One True Loves & will likely read them both this year. OTL has a movie that I assume will be out this year. I've yet to read anything by TJR but am excited. I'm one who loved It Starts With Us. It's a bit less heavy than the 1st with the sweet love story. I thought it felt like a realistic continuation for Lily's story, with how Ryle has to fit into it all. Still makes good points about the topic.

So glad you're back!! I think People We Meet on Vacation is the best of Emily Henry's current books; Book Lovers was more women's fiction than romance which I didn't really love. I really liked It Starts With Us but I think you have to go into it expecting it to be an extended epilogue of It Ends With Us. I think most of the people that didn't like it were looking at it as if it was a standalone romance which isn't really what it is. I do think re-reading IEWU is a good idea though; I only had about a year between IEWU and ISWU and I wasn't picking up on a lot of the references.
Ok, so I had to comment, first of all I remember how I discovered Mariana Zapata books thanks to you and it's been a couple years later but I never said thank you ❤️😅 and now, I think that Taylor Jenkins Reid is one of my favorites authors, my favorites books that she wrote are '7 husband's..' and 'Malibu Rising', I'm happy that you are planning on reading her books! I read "funny you should ask" last year and liked it and I think that you will also like it. The structure of the story is interesting and it's just a fun read. When it comes to Emily Henry books 'Beach Read' just wasn't my thing 'People we..' was ok, good in my opinion, but 'book lovers'!🥰 One of my favorite books of 2022! I'm glad that you are back, just wanted to say 'Hi' from Poland❤️

Gabor Mate love of my life we study him for uni and honestly the stuff is so heavy in both theory and real life experiences so at times it may get like info overload but it makes you cry because he is just so awesome. His views on attachment and addiction are always included in my essays. I love him

I personally loved It Starts With Us. I liked it more than It Ends With Us because I loved Atlas in the first book. It does feel like an extended epilogue but I wanted more scenes of Atlas and Lily being happy so I didn't mind. There are some other elements other than just Lily and Atlas. I think it all just depends on if you liked Atlas enough to want a whole book about him.
Mauler and Questus by english writer Shawn Williamson. Mauler is indicated by english writer, historian, cinema director Andrew Sinclair. He compares it with White Fang by Jack London.
Things we never got over was good. It is about a woman with her niece. Guy doesn’t like her twin so he doesn’t like her at first. It was good even though it does get a little crazy at the end.
I personally liked it starts with us. I don’t understand the whole “unnecessary” comments. I was happy to see Lily and atlas get their happy ending. I thought it was a super sweet story.

I just finished a million kisses in your lifetime and I LOVED it. I am OBSESSED with the guy in this book. It is a new adult boarding school romance. The main guy comes from an EXTREMELY wealthy family and the girl's family is wealthy as well. It is also an innocent girl and experienced boy trope.
it starts with us was definitely an unnecessary book for me personally. I just felt like it was written solely for media attention bc if it was actually that important in spreading the message on domestic abuse, coho would've definitely written it sooner. the book itself was okay, nothing earth shaking but if you're a fan of the first book, it'll be enjoyable to read.
