For the last problem 12:40. He said and then 30 minutes more and got 22.5. Can someone explain that part to me please?
Ohhhh he divided 45 by 2. I totally understand now thanks brain 😂😅
Correct, half an hour, half of the 45
@@ColfaxMath you’re awesome!
@@Mr_89Sir.ThankYou-Sir Thank you
Isn’t B the answer for number 7? I’m kinda confused now lol
No it's C. You have to convert to yards first
@@ColfaxMath you got my sub sir
@@bornpacifican5006 thank you
Why is number 7 not 62.40?
There are three feet to the yard, so 9 sq feet equals one square yard. 3 x 3 = 9 , calculate the total square yards times the price per yard
@@ColfaxMathHow did u get the 5 and the 6 yds on answer 7?
Lmaoo that’s exactly what I did on the practice test! 😂🤣 rule out the obvious pick what’s reasonable… they rarely have 2 close together that could be the answer! I thought I was cheating lmao
Good strategy
how did you get 22.5?? 12:43
Half of 45
Question is where did you pull the 22.5 out of? I don’t understand
What problem are you talking about?
@@ColfaxMath Number 10!
@@ColfaxMathYeah so how did u even get the 22.5 when adding it up? Hello
@@pushvedula564045 MPH divided by 2 because he is looking for the number of miles traveled in 30 minutes.
@@jacobbell3429 ohhh ok
Prey I passs everybody
Good luck
How did you get the 4 on the 1st problem?
It was just an approximation. I rounded the 3.5 up to 4 so I could multiply it in my head, then looked at the possible choices and saw that there was only one answer that was close.
@@ColfaxMath Thank your for your help. The answer his 54 mph
If Alice drove R=45 mph , T=3 hours, D=R.T, D=135,
Dave have to drive at the same distance to catch Alice . So D=135 , his time : T=3h- 0.5 h(30min)=2.5 h .To found his speed, R=D/T, R=135/2.5, R=54mph
