While I believe you, that you do not have any malicious intent whatsoever, what you do is still highly irresponsible. Anyone else with your influence can prey on minors, and that's why people equate you to creeps.
One thing we learn about being an adult is that we are limited to socialize only within our age group. Interaction with any other age group is considered suspicious because why would someone do so without predatory intent?
That being said, please get help for your trauma and coping mechanism. My concern is that you're also opening yourself up to be further sexualized BY minors. The space has been deemed safe enough for them to misbehave and it's all gonna rain down on you enabling that behavior.
