Guys, even though he's right about xanthan gum, don't consume it daily. It causes digestive issues when ingested regularly. Hence, why it's suggested to not eat street or restaurant food often because they use such additives to make their food seem more thicker and better than home food.
xanthan gum is also such a common ingredient in skincare products, that's where i recognise it from at least. Feels weird to know it's also used while cooking
It's used to thiken anything that maybe too watery (like to give right texture to skincare products) or to stabilize some emultions. In this case it's a thickener, rather use heavy cream or ice cream or just blend I've it does the same thing if you drink soon enough.
No wonder it taste so good. There is a restaurant where I used to go for South Indian food and I loved their cold coffee. They usually used a scoop of vanilla ice cream as topping (of course with extra charge) but I always asked them for chocolate instead of vanilla(in menu it was written vanilla but since they served ice cream too I asked them to change that). I used to think what they do bcz my cold coffee never tastes like that. I once bought from McDonald's bcz they were close and it was like water. That's why I just stopped drinking cold coffee when I left the town
My way of making cold coffee:- Put the boiled milk into a freezer and when it is half frozen take it out and put it into a blender or mixer (or boil milk with no water mixed in and let it cool in the fridge pit this with some icecubes into a blender or mixer) add sugar and coffee powder and let it blend for atleast 30 secs and it's ready to serve
Dear your all devices n specially the Mixer /Grinder with your lovely experience it adds lots of taste n when it's in Marathi dish then u r simply amazing ... keep it up .... God bless you in tons...
I will have to try this version, but have something similar that an indian chick taught me: 5 large ice cubes 2 tsp instant coffee 1 cup milk 1/8 tsp xanthan gum Thats the base recipe, you can add other flavorings. My favorite is adding a heaping tbsp of cocoa powder, 3 tsp sugar and about 3/4 tsp almond extract.
My sasta jugaad recipe for thick cold coffee :- 2 sachet coffee Sugar (as required) Milk , ice And 4-5 Parle-G biscuit per glass . ( Mix them after mixing former ingredients, give them a quick blend) . Parle-G wont make a taste different it will just give a thick consistency that I like ! Give it a try and dont you dare call it a Parle-G shake 😂
No i work at cafe- This is how we make it 3 scoop of vanilla ice cream 100 ml of milk Espresso shot / 15gm of instant coffe Any Flavour syrup (optional)
>Cold coffee
>is like 5% coffee 💀
If you will add more coffee to it then it will give a bitter taste..
@@parishashukla7423still only about 10% 💀
@@parishashukla7423umm there are people who like the bitter taste
and ice 75% 💀
Bourn Vita man Revant should make a video about this .

Xanthan gum is most commonly used stabiliser in pastry and gelato industry.
Instead you can add some semen.
