Been losing motivation on my own build lately (em1 clone 2000 ex coupe) and seeing you just keep moving even when motors blow and keep the passion gives me that little bit to keep going on mine, I appreciate that, and appreciate the great content it’s always top notch

John, I have had a B16a since 2003. It's the ultimate hi rev machine. Ive done my share of drag racing with it. Your 60 foot times are about similar to what we get at GLD. When you get your 60 foot down to two seconds, then 13.99 is there. It takes practice coming out of the hole, trying to hold the wheelspin to a minimum without dogging it. I too have the short geared 5-speed. I love the sound of your car above 7K. I have a jackson racing s/c on mine running 11psi for years without failure. The B16 is a rev monster that wants to keep going when others need to be shifted. btw, I'm in schaumburg. Trips to the dragstrip builds character and shared camaraderie... You have the drive and desire to make more with less, embrace it. I still love my '93 ex coupe.

Not bad numbers I only hit a 14.2 with a 55 shot nitrous in my prelude launching at 2500 and street tires , the h22a motor n/a only made 196whp. Great content !
All you need is your reaction time down. I launch when the third light is on that half second it takes you to dump the clutch and release that brake you’ll be in the .00
I do not know what your rev limit is set at but it sounds too low for that euro R the stock euro R ecu redlines at 8200rpm the head comes stock with dual valve springs and i rev mine at 8500 rpm with no issues and i am running skunk 2 pro 2 stage 1 cams with the stock valve train the motor sounds locked up raise the rev limit it will keep making power up 9k.
@@boosted_john you can pull the timing cover off and just cut the rubber belt going to them this will not effect anything and will help with oil pressure ks tuned makes a delete kit but for now that's the easiest option and even with the balance shafts the euro r can still be revved to 8200rpm which is factory rev limit anyways

Simple bolt on’s are cool but I want to get into swapping and rebuilding and boosting etc. what’s the first steps I should take into being able to do this ? (Also don’t mind explaining how to budget for it 😅). ~Thanks
Street racing and drag racing is two different ways to drive and shift. For me your shifting is slow and you're making your turbo make boost every gear instead to keep it in boost between gears. Try that next time...

If you turn a couple bolts each night, it will eventually get done 🙌
