I also have that board and spi is about 20m only. Xm+ gave me like 200-300m and not pushed to its max.

At first I had high hopes for spi. There's a UA-cam ch named 'tacalika' and they managed to fly the mobula for 600m. I tried all the tricks but I cannot replicate that so I just simply bought xm+ and Happy with it. Xm+ Rssi in osd is good enough indicator
