Start with wheels/tires, anything less than 285 rear is inadequate. Then get a catch-can and CAI. If you have manual, skip-shift eliminator and short throw shifter....
I installed the Scat Pack stage 1 on my 300. With the new CAI, arrow racing ECU, and exhaust system, it really changes the feel of the car. My 100k warranty is totally intact too. That was a clincher for me.
Great vid man! I just picked up my 2018 Daytona 392, and I absolutely love it! My first mod is definitely gonna be that catch can, and then I'll more than likely get the tazer. I didn't see it listed for a 2018, but shouldn't have any issues I hope.....thanks again man, and love what you've done to your ride!✊🏾👍🏾
Also, if you can, get the 3.09 LSD rear if your car came with the 2.62 open rear, which is the standard in the non Road and Track package cars. I did all of these mods plus that, not to mention a good CAI intake like the Mopar. And at least a Diablo tune.
That definitely makes a huge difference. The open diff is rough. Any time I’d take a sharp right turn that went slightly up hill, the inside tire would spin no matter how lightly I was applying throttle. The brakes fade pretty quickly too after only a few moderate to hard braking applications, such is the issue with a 4200 vehicle.

Longer wheelbase, thicker glass, quieter inside, totally usable & functional.Nothing sexier & more "Euro, yet American badass", than a well appointed Charger like yours! 👌
Everyone is going to have their own priorities. These are the 3 top things to me. Traction is the #1 problem with this car from the factory, add power without dealing with that first and that problem just grows bigger. Exhaust is great stock, changing that is just a sound difference, don't expect a power gain unless you put long tube headers and/or lose the cats. Intake doesn't do much, costly for low returns but look good. Tune is good from what I hear and I am probably getting one down the road once the tcm tuning releases from Diablo (which is beta testing currently), but it sucks having to buy another pcm.
It can involve lots of tweaks, but the main things are adjusting the air/fuel mixture and timing across the rpm band. Lots of other things can be tweaked as well such as torque management, raising rev limits, speed limiter if applicable, transmission adjustments to shift firmness, there's a lot and it depends on the car. Mainly its about dialing in the individual car to its best possible performance. If you start adding mods to the engine you need a tune to take advantage of them since they can throw the stock tune out of whack as far as air/fuel if you have long tube headers or ported heads etc. For this car it costs more than average since we have to buy another unlocked PCM or have your stock one unlocked which adds to the cost of the tuner and tune. It's roughly around $1000 depending on what you go with for this car.
got the Hurst pistol grip shifter for my charger and your install vid was fing awesome...your vids are right to the point and informative...do you still have the charger???
Really nice presentation Jim! I just turned 1000 miles on my new baby; a 2017 Daytona 392, and yep, I'm itchy for some mods already. Definitely going with your three recommendations. (BTW I'm 76 and still going strong but I sure do get a lot of weird looks out on the street though). An odd question for you. Do you know if anyone has swapped a Hellcat hood for the stock Daytona hood? I like the Hellcat's overall up front airflow design but does the hood interfere with the Daytona cold airflow breathing pathway? Also, are you on the LX or Charger forums? I'm OldAl.
Thanks! That's a great car you got there :) I'm not sure on the hood situation, I'd try on the forums and see if anyone has done it. I'm on lx but I mostly read and check for news. Moparhemipowered
Billet Tech catch can is on the way... Bought the Tazer and unlocked Track Mode. Wow! I'm running on Pirelli P Zero Nero 275s and even on those the 392 comes out hard and shifting is like running on saw teeth - crazy fast and positive shifts! Been looking at your buddy's (5x56mm) postings and noticed both of you have neat plates. Mine is on the way, "A 392 H" should look OK. You get to any shows in Orange County?
The swap will be a big improvement as the hellcat hood has a cutout directly over the air box. Downside if it rains it is gonna suck down water for the same reason.
Didn't go through all the comments here but what about a cold air intake? I just picked up a 2019 srt Charger, that's my 2nd thought after tires cause these 245 don't allow for a 1st gear😕. Catch can never heard of & will look into in NOW. thanks for vid ✌️
These cars really don't need any mods. For example - the LD (2011+) Charger Pursuit comes standard with the front and rear wigwags, and the EZH 5.7 V8 has the most agressive, yet safe, timing schedule - negating the need for a tuner. CAI and exhaust add absolutely nothing but noise. The catch can and the tires are good mods.
does the tazer have to stay plugged in for the track mode & drive modes to function? or can it just be downloaded and then you can take the tazer out of the OBD2
What is the wear rating on the tires. I like continentals myself. I try to keep them on my wife's car because they last and look awesome on her car. I just can't imagine a tire that hooks on this type of torque, lasting though. I got 25,000 out of my factory set and I don't even race.
that's lot of straight oil in your catch can brother. You might need to get it check out for heavy blow by. in my catch can, all I get every 5k miles is little sluge maybe 1/32 inch at the bottom.
Every engine is going to be different. I had about the same on my 2012 Ram 1500 5.7 each change. I've seen way more on other guys at 3k, like almost full. Thanks though, sounds like you have a really tight motor!
For this tire/wheel set up, do you need the 3mm or 5mm spacers for these? When ordering +25mm and +15mm offsets, what exactly is that referring to? Thanks
With the 315 tires, they are really close to a small area of the inner fender where they can rub when cornering, so a 3mm spacer gives them just enough room to prevent that in the rear. Wheel offset is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel, it determines where the wheel sits in the fender, ie: pokes out or tuck under more. Here's more info www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=101
I have the same tire set up as you. Only difference is i used the stock WRTs and had them widened in the rear to 10.5. I have 9mm of spacers in the rear and still rub on tight corners. What is your current offset?
How much do you know about the internals? Im coming from an 05 mustang gt that I superchargerd and I ran into the problem of needing forged internals at 575hp (500 rwhp) to up the boost past 8-9lb and go any higher. Love the look of these plus they have 4 doors for the family, want to make sure I get the right one before buying. What I really wanted was an AWD but I just cant seem to find them with the v8 and sexy curves like I was hoping :/ Great advice on tires and wheels btw, should be first real mod on any car, too many people start adding power before adding traction.
From all that I've read and researched on the subject its a gamble IMO. I've seen a fair share of failures on them. Maybe its just a knifes edge on the tuning to keep them safe...The top ring land on the 392 isn't the beefiest and can pop from the rings expanding under boost temps. Most guys recommend a set of rods and pistons to boost without worrying. I've see one tuner Tim Barth say its not a problem on them but he says it requires proper combo and fuel to make them last. I'm no expert but I have read a bit on the matter and personally I don't think I would boost mine without rods and pistons dropped in. Just my opinion of course. I wish it was like the modern coyote and safely handled boost no problem. A hellcat short block is another option, for about 4k, or look for a used hellcat.
What rwhp were they putting down on the ones you saw detonate? I really need 4 doors for my kids, but man I loved the coyote engine as well and would go that route if they were older. Started looking at the chargers hoping to get an AWD as well only to find they are all v6 except the police cruisers which I would have to buy used. If you have any advice let me know, want power awd and 4 doors with a sexy sporty look and its tougher than I thought. Might have to give up on awd
I see roughly 600-700whp from adding a supercharger depending on other mods, fuel and tune etc. They pick up a lot of power from forced induction. The 392 is a great engine though stock, very good power band and tons of torque everywhere.
I haven't seen anyone push past 630 safely, but im sure they are out there. Curious how much would be safe without doing internals, guessing 600 or so rwhp before doing internals .
I have Daytona 392 I was thinking about going 305 in the rear on a 9.5 inch wheel and leaving the 275’s on the front. But I’m worried about over/under steer. Are you experiencing any of that?
Honestly that's a bit wide for a 9.5" wheel, you wont benefit from throwing too big a tire on it. I would run what's appropriate for the wheel size. If you wan't more go with a wider wheel, that's my 2 cents.
I haven't had any problems with the car other than a slight gear whine out of the rear end at 60mph which is super common. Both my friends cars have it also, it's been there since like 500 miles, more of a minor annoyance.
Woodchuck Jim Yes sir I understand. I just have read a lot about the car and seen that a few people have had problems with the ac and they swapped over to a newer Freon making things much more expensive. I just didn’t want to make a big purchase and it turn around and bite me in the butt
Interesting... I honestly haven't heard of anything like that and I frequent the hellcat.org forums daily as they are quite active and most issues are the same across the models aside from engine mainly.
Is there an updated version of this? I just bought a 2019 Challenger Scat Pack, and it already comes with a lot of these things. I know this video is older which is why I'm asking
Hey Jim. Informative video. Thank you. I’m wondering if I should buy the SRT model over the SP. The taser mod seems to make up for a lot of money spent on the SRT. Can you help to answer my question on why someone would buy the SRT over the SP? I’m so torn. I know the adjustable suspension is one reason but what else? I’ve spent a lot of time researching short of going to the dealer and still aren’t sure 😩. I do want the adjustable suspension though. It’s a family car for me 😅.
I also know it has bigger brakes and wider tires. But can’t I get all this stuff on a SP and still come out cheaper? I hear some say, at this point you might as well get the SRT. I want it loaded minus driver assist and cruise control crash prevention. I don’t care for those types of options.
Yeah the options have changed since I bought mine. The SRT 392 is no longer a current model for 2019 Charger, its differences are rolled into options on the SP now. Its really down to what you want in the car I would say. If you want everything the SRT has, go for it. If you only want some things, option out a scat pack and see. as far as the adjustable suspension, the SP is basically equivalent to the sport setting in the SRT. I've heard from lots of owners say that Track mode is a bit harsh for the street and the normal is a bit softer that sport. I love the way mine rides stock. I've also seen SP discounted 5-8k around at times so that also might be something to consider, or if you can find a deal on an SRT. Go drive an SRT and Scat and compare, maybe the adjustable suspension is or isn't something you care about after you've driven both. Good luck!
Patrick personally, i found a 2012 Super Bee. 392, big Brembos with slotted rotors that help it stop on a dime, & already lowered but not adjustable. basically all the power/performance of an SRT8 without all the luxury. smaller radio face, no navigation/backup cam, no heated/cooled seats/cup holders, no sunroof. brand new in 2012 started at $40k but fair market now is around $22k.
Bad Looking Charger question what are your Wheel like them a lot also you think these new wheels and tires will fit on a 2019 Charger R/T Scat Pack with rubbing on bumps or when you turn?
JP Melinko Only for some functions like light show, button remapping, Line lock. Track mode and SRT don't require it to be plugged in. There's a list on their website.
Great vid man, your Charger looks insanely sexy with those monster rear tires! I have a 2017 SE with the Blacktop package...to the best of your knowledge do you think I could run 305s in the rear?
You are free to do what you like but running the same size tire on a wider wheel gives you an actual wider contact patch, running a way over sized tire on a stock wheel isn't advised by tire manufacturers and wont get the full benefit of the tire size and can give you issues. There are extensive threads and articles you can read about this if you like more information www.hellcat.org/threads/hellcat-life-changer-nitto-555r-305-35r20-on-stock-rims.51993/. Here's just one thread on HC forum, and mind you that's just regarding 305 on a 9" wide wheel. I would recommend going by tire manufacturers specs as to what its designed to fit on. That's just my 2c. :)
Only certain features require it to be plugged in like button remapping and line lock, you can check on their website for all the details. Track mode and srt pages etc do not require it to be left plugged in.
I have 2018 Charger,, 392 Scat pack. Does the tuner void the warranty? My wife talked into the 7 years 100,000 warienty. I am thinking it would if I could not go back to factory setting, and. would the computer no it was changed?
Its not a tuner, the Tazer just unlocks some factory SRT options and stuff. You can change/undo any changes easily with Tazer if you need to. To actually tune the car you need a cracked pcm and tuning software/programmer.
Thaddeus Mikolajczyk Warranties are on a case by case basis. Warranty inquiries are submitted through a Chrysler dealer website and either approved or denied by a Chrysler rep who reviews the case. Really depends what the issue is and what has caused it. No single modification will automatically void a warranty but can increase your chances of a warranty claim being denied if something were to go wrong.
P Kranz Like I said, just depends on the scenario and what goes wrong. If you modify the engine or related components and something happens, they could deny your claim. I handled Chrysler warranty claim submissions for years. But you are correct, it might not be an issue. All warranty claims are handled on a case by case basis, though. Warranties are never “void” and each claim is circumstantial.
On my 5.7 challenger track mode works as intended without any issues. It's amazing. It didn't work before but with new uconnect update it works. It used to think it was a hellcat and ask for red key but now it doesn't. Track mode works great! The only downside with SRT mode is sport mode button not working. You can still select from screen tho.
you can remap the sport mode button now, requires leaving the tazer plugged in. I made a video on that as well as remapping aux buttons on steering wheel. It works awesome.
Oh I hadn't noticed that it was limited to 2016+ Scat pack for the sport button my apologies, however it does look like if you have the aux buttons you can remap those from what I'm reading. Thanks
It absolutely will, you have to re-set to factory before bringing it in for servicing, my Mopar salesman owns a scar pack and bought the Tazr so he would know better than anyone.
I tried to massage the rear fender ribs in, you can check out my video on it, but honestly not sure how much it really helped. I think the 3mm spacers in the rear are enough according to others that run them.
Get Dynomax Mini racing mufflers. Sounds amazing. Go amazon 24250 pet number. I have a 2017 RT with mid muffler delete and resonator delete. Dynomax’s in the place of the stock resonators. Sounds like a monster lol 😂
I don't personally feel its good value, as well as was out of my budget. SRT start at 52k. Thats 12k higher than a scat pack charger starts at. Same powertrain, with adjustable suspension and bigger (expensive to replace) front brakes and 0.5" wider wheels and all the little bells and whistles. I got my car for 40k with the leather package. I have a feeling it won't be around much longer, they only sold @500 last year of SRT Chargers. Hellcat is the top model charger now and with Scat Packs and Daytona's offering much of what's on an SRT minus the suspension, it doesn't seem like its got much draw now.
Elliott Dickens Some guys have run them but seeing how close my 10.5" is with 315 tire I wouldn't personally. I wouldn't want mine to stick out past the fender more and there isn't 1/2" of room left inside, I ran a 3mm spacer and flattened a rib and pushed in the inner fender liner to eliminate rubbing on mine.
Unless you have some rare limited production car and want to keep the originals for either resale later or you just love them or have a use for them for winter etc, there is no reason to keep them. Tires will go bad over time and become unsafe. I'm glad I sold mine when I did, they are worth much less currently with more cars out there and more being sold each year. I also wasn't a fan of the look.
Start with wheels/tires, anything less than 285 rear is inadequate. Then get a catch-can and CAI. If you have manual, skip-shift eliminator and short throw shifter....
Track mode with the mid muffler delete pops and crakles I love it
Is that good if you dont have turbos? I've heard that it can break parts of your engine

briantetley9 I’m sorry, what exactly does it mean when people say they’re getting their car tuned? Like what does it do, what’s the average cost, etc?

Wheel offset is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel, it determines where the wheel sits in the fender, ie: pokes out or tuck under more. Here's more info
www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=101
I have the same tire set up as you. Only difference is i used the stock WRTs and had them widened in the rear to 10.5. I have 9mm of spacers in the rear and still rub on tight corners. What is your current offset?
in description, rears are +25mm offset and I run 3mm spacers
Will any of these mods void my warranty? Great video I loved it!
Great question
How much do you know about the internals? Im coming from an 05 mustang gt that I superchargerd and I ran into the problem of needing forged internals at 575hp (500 rwhp) to up the boost past 8-9lb and go any higher.
Love the look of these plus they have 4 doors for the family, want to make sure I get the right one before buying. What I really wanted was an AWD but I just cant seem to find them with the v8 and sexy curves like I was hoping :/
Great advice on tires and wheels btw, should be first real mod on any car, too many people start adding power before adding traction.
Curious how much would be safe without doing internals, guessing 600 or so rwhp before doing internals .
are those the stock 20x9 wheels or where did you end up getting 20x10.5 to fit the 315?
I have Daytona 392 I was thinking about going 305 in the rear on a 9.5 inch wheel and leaving the 275’s on the front. But I’m worried about over/under steer. Are you experiencing any of that?
Honestly that's a bit wide for a 9.5" wheel, you wont benefit from throwing too big a tire on it. I would run what's appropriate for the wheel size. If you wan't more go with a wider wheel, that's my 2 cents.
Is this around the Nellie Gail ranch area?
CAn you tell me where you purchased you SRT Rims from. thanks
The wheels info is listed up in the description.
Have you had any problems with the ac? I’m looking to purchase a 16 rt and I don’t want to buy something I’m going to have to fix right away
The only thing stopping me from buying one is the cost of the Brembo brake replacements
The larger 6 piston brembos in the front are expensive to replace, the 4 piston like mine aren't bad.
Good luck!
Woodchuck Jim thanks for your opinion
Patrick
personally, i found a 2012 Super Bee.
What’s the weight on those reproductions? Any issues with durability or the paint? Thanks!
20x9.5's weigh 30.2 lbs.
20x10.5's weigh 31.65 lbs.
No issues so far.
Any rubbing issues with changing tire setup. Can you post sizes of tire and wheels and where you got them please
very minor, you can check the description for all info and I have other vids covering everything.
Does the tazer unlock the srt stuff on a normal rt
Bro thanks for the info great job.
Does the Tazer need to stay plugged into the car for it to work?
JP Melinko Only for some functions like light show, button remapping, Line lock. Track mode and SRT don't require it to be plugged in. There's a list on their website.
Does this void warranty ?
how do you get line lock? used a tazer on my 2017 T/A, no line lock far as I can tell.
It has to be plugged in for that function to work
I'm looking to get some 275 front and 315 on rear I'm seeing alot of owners doing that ..
Brian Ramos it’s the way to go brother 👌💯
Is there any rubbing with 315s in the back? I'm looking at putting 305s in the back of my scat pack.
Great vid man, your Charger looks insanely sexy with those monster rear tires! I have a 2017 SE with the Blacktop package...to the best of your knowledge do you think I could run 305s in the rear?
Thanks man! I wouldn't on the stock wheels but if you go aftermarket yeah.
Ok, what do you think is the widest tire I can run on in the rear on the stock 20x8 rims?
I personally would only go 245-255 on 8" wide.
On my stock 20s I'm running 315/35
You are free to do what you like but running the same size tire on a wider wheel gives you an actual wider contact patch, running a way over sized tire on a stock wheel isn't advised by tire manufacturers and wont get the full benefit of the tire size and can give you issues. There are extensive threads and articles you can read about this if you like more information
www.hellcat.org/threads/hellcat-life-changer-nitto-555r-305-35r20-on-stock-rims.51993/. Here's just one thread on HC forum, and mind you that's just regarding 305 on a 9" wide wheel. I would recommend going by tire manufacturers specs as to what its designed to fit on. That's just my 2c. :)
Hello, do I have to leave the taser plugged in to the car or is it a one-time thing
Only certain features require it to be plugged in like button remapping and line lock, you can check on their website for all the details. Track mode and srt pages etc do not require it to be left plugged in.
May be a stupid question but i just got a 2015 rt plus challenger. The tazer will work with it right? Again, sorry if you said it in the vid
It does, check their site for features for yours
www.zautotech.com/tazer.html
So i have a 2016 RT charger. From the factory, the PCM is locked. do i have to have an unlocked pcm to use the z?
No unlocked PCM needed, it works on a completely stock car.
WCJ, thanks, I will look for the Tazer, and see what it does.
Looks like the Westlake area.
How are the brakes on the scat pack? I know they are a bit smaller than srt and daytona, but id assume its not a huge difference.
They are really damn good. I don't think you'd notice any difference normal driving outside of tracking a car.
@@WoodchuckJim thanks
You can unlock track mode on the R/T? And the SRT Pages on an R/T?
Keith Allen what he said with the tazer
I seen ppl use this in the challenger and charger but will this work on a 2015 300s hemi?
I'm not fully aware of 300 stuff. The catch can will, tires and wheels might, tazer does
So a 22mm offset would elimate the need of the spacers
I believe so.
What options did you pick for your catch can, since it's apparently very customizable?
I just went with the standard can with z bracket option. I got the braided lines later on sale.
that seem to be a lot of oil in that catch can... 60k on my srt and not a drop in my catch can. just wonder cuz I'm about to pick up a scat pack
Hi this phil from ohio..will how far back does the taxes work on like I got a 06 rt charger.just wondering
Not taxes..but the tazer
I recently purchased a 2017 Daytona 5.7 and I was wondering if I install a catch can myself does that void warranty?
No it doesn't. Catch can is a very popular mod on all the hemi motors.
W1cK3dSiK It does not void the warranty, per my Zone Rep.
Hi Jim, does it ever appear that the rims do not match? I speaking of the finish.
Not that I've seen
what city or town is this filmed in, looks nice?
Bruise Knee looks like chino hills, ca
The track mode if you have a 5.7 leave a irreversible airbag light on the dash I've heard. Is that true?
Not sure on the particulars on the 5.7. Prob best to ask the vendor Zauto or a forum member with a 5.7.
Woodchuck Jim only 2016-2017 can remap
Oh I hadn't noticed that it was limited to 2016+ Scat pack for the sport button my apologies, however it does look like if you have the aux buttons you can remap those from what I'm reading. Thanks
How do u access the srt pages when u get in your car ??plz answer
You just click on performance pages
Will this work for a 2018 charger rt? Will I get track mode also or is that for scat pack only? Thank you everyone
Yes they work on 5.7 but track mode is for 6.4 models only.
Thanks
Jesus. 315s? Badass but unneeded. I have 275s and never have an issue
What color is your charger? Looks sweet with those wheels.
Maximum Steel Metallic, thanks man!
I'm assuming the Taser will void the warranty?
No, it mostly unlocks features build in to the car. You can easily undo the settings and no trace or knowledge of it.
Woodchuck Jim will the catch cam void the warranty
59BigSig, No it will not
Will the Tazer void any warranty?
kenpoS2K no
It absolutely will, you have to re-set to factory before bringing it in for servicing, my Mopar salesman owns a scar pack and bought the Tazr so he would know better than anyone.
Does the obd2 unlocking device void warrenty
No
Does the srt 392 come with line locks?
No, Tazer adds that function
And doesn’t sport mode keep the exhaust flaps open?
no it doesn't, track mode does
Did u have to do tub work to fit the 315s?
I tried to massage the rear fender ribs in, you can check out my video on it, but honestly not sure how much it really helped. I think the 3mm spacers in the rear are enough according to others that run them.
Woodchuck Jim sounds good thank you
Get Dynomax Mini racing mufflers. Sounds amazing. Go amazon 24250 pet number. I have a 2017 RT with mid muffler delete and resonator delete. Dynomax’s in the place of the stock resonators. Sounds like a monster lol 😂
Nice video
with a 10.5 inch rear wheel what is the offset
it's right in the description, +25mm
Does the tazer void warranty
No it doesn't
Link to the tires?
Gear head Gang 😜
i dont have the updated inteior rip 2012
Does track mode work on the RT?
It does, consult their site for features www.zautotech.com/tazer.html
Yes
Would it open the exhaust on a rt?
I believe so as long as its a 2017 or newer that have active exhaust
Do your tires rub any?
Not with the 3mm spacers out back they don't
Woodchuck Jim they would rub in the back without the spacers?
Do you have to leave it plugged into your OBD2 for it to work? Or can you put it in and add them and then unplug iy
only a few features require it to be plugged in such as line lock, light show, mapping buttons
Does the first mod that enables track mode void the warrant on the car??
Do you really need an oil catch can !! Shouldn’t the manufacturer put one on if it was completely necessary?!? Isn’t that like a nascar thing ?!
Love the intro. It would be even better if you made it widescreen like with the bars on top and bottom. Would make it look more professional.
Thanks, yeah it was really old footage from an old camcorder days. Maybe I'll toy with it more sometime.
Thank You, like the video's
Thanks buddy
How much hp does your car make? 475+ ??
Stock crank hp is rated at 485hp, on dyno's they generally put down around 410-430whp depending on what type of dyno it is.
Woodchuck Jim ic , awesome car man. Hopefully ill get one myself one day !
Why not get the SRT charger instead!
Will track mode be unlocked on the 2015 challenger scat pack??
Yes
Woodchuck Jim even though mine only shows SPORT and default mode? No track option anywhere
Yes, its unlocked by the Tazer.
Must have mods are catless mid pipe and mid muffler delete. If your neighbors love your car
How about that Pedro commander folk are raging about?
Would the tazer give a 2016 charger rt track mode ?
No, that only works on scat packs and daytona 6.4L models I believe.
Good video....
Eugene Dixon thanks buddy
Woodchuck Jim Do you think a 11" wheel will fit on these chargers?
Elliott Dickens Some guys have run them but seeing how close my 10.5" is with 315 tire I wouldn't personally. I wouldn't want mine to stick out past the fender more and there isn't 1/2" of room left inside, I ran a 3mm spacer and flattened a rib and pushed in the inner fender liner to eliminate rubbing on mine.
Woodchuck Jim Okay thank you that's good to know
Clean ass Car
Never sell your original wheels & tire
Unless you have some rare limited production car and want to keep the originals for either resale later or you just love them or have a use for them for winter etc, there is no reason to keep them. Tires will go bad over time and become unsafe. I'm glad I sold mine when I did, they are worth much less currently with more cars out there and more being sold each year. I also wasn't a fan of the look.
