Wonderful insights into respecting each other IF we constantly follow these guidelines. What beautiful conversations we can have without screaming to choke down your own ideas and beliefs down other people’s throats when expressing ideas. As some people do. Thank you for this message.

"Man is not disturbed by events, but by the views he takes of them." - Epictetus.
How do you think this truth applies to the 10 truths discussed in the video?

Epictetus' idea that our reactions to events, not the events themselves, cause our distress is echoed in his principles of emotional responsibility, mindful response, and letting go .

Marcus Aurelius: 'When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself: The people I deal with today will be meddling, ungrateful, arrogant, dishonest, jealous, and surly. They are like this because they can't tell good from evil.'

Stoicism is the art of communicating and learning from all individuals. A MAGA person shouldn’t be a roadblock to learning and understanding. Once you get to connect with a person, empathy is key to understanding. All obstacles can break down if you come at the person with an open mind and open heart.
