First hound hunt 2024

After having no luck finding a hog deer, we decided to start the hound season early, the thought was it would be a good weekend to get some miles in the legs for next weekends back packing trip.
Even though it wasn't forecast it rained solidly all night! So much so that everyone aired down in the morning as it was incredibly slippery!
We were in the thick of it right from the start, i was too slow to get a doe early on, lucky the young bloke was quicker!

You and a 1000 others lol. I'm over the mountains in the NE and were getting smashed by "hunters" lol. Well blokes who drive around all day and like to shoot everything from the car

Just wondering mats where do you hunt in vic I am pretty sure I hunt in the same area
