I really appreciate that way that you talk while you’re engraving and tell us about the techniques and burs that you’re using. I’ve learned a lot from watching them.
GOD bless you... You are so gifted, and make your art seem easy. I wish I could accomplish glass engraving, at least, the half you do. By the way you are so agreeable and "guapa".
Well I've done 4 glasses only cracked 1 out of 4, actually making shadows as beginner is really difficult. Aparantly they don't sell Cristal at my local stores anymore, only plain glass and its always so thin. I got 2 giant Beer Glasses that should not break for my next try. Very good channel, your tutorials are a tresure.
That's excellent to hear, have fun! If you fancy learning so much more and being able to ask questions.... pop along and look at my main teaching channel www.patreon.com/glassengraving
Good afternoon. Wonderfully made. I am from the Netherlands and I have a hard time in buying the right tools. I work right now with diamand tools and for the softer tones with rubber tools, but the rubber tools are too soft and are wearing out. Because of that, the small points are vanishing and to do work that is precisely becomes hard. Where can I buy tools for the softer tones?
Hola sigo tus vídeos, hace cuatro meses q intento hacer lo mismo,en cada tallado aprendo algo nuevo, con la ayuda de tus vídeos voy mejorando de a poco, gracias desde Argentina.
Great , great , tutorial . So much to be gleaned from it , Thank You ! (Your taking away of the various noises and just narrating along is genius) Lastly , two things . First , I know ppl mention ideas , (and I'm one , sorry , lol) , but when i used a dry magic eraser (to wipe away marking pen ink) on a beer mug I finished and was about to hand wash , I found out I could really give a high gloss sheen to areas I had polished over . Second , you have a beautiful smile . Thanks again . ~:-}>
@@glassengraver Thank you Lesley . The local "DollarTree" store here has large beer mugs that I practice on for a dollar apiece . I drew a flag blowing in the wind and engraved half of it on the outside , and the other rippling half inside . It looks three dimensional when I do it right . (And it looks like chicken scratch when I do it wrong haha)
Best to only engrave the inside (which I love doing) on something not to be used. The contents will soak well into the engraving and meticulous cleaning will be required.
@@glassengraver Yes , you're absolutely right . The effect I had hoped for was great . But always in the back of my mind the thought that two [minute] fractures coming together and forming a crack prevented me from actually allowing them in the hands of friends . (Especially the beer drinkers raising them in a toast) haha not good . Best Regards Lesley . Thank You , gary
I’m checking out the engraving videos for the first time what is the purpose of the white Arkansas stone is a putting a white film on the glass or is it actually doing some type of engraving? Thanks for the videos
Thank you for your videos. Your work if amazing. You were saying something about a center diamond burr (diamond dust throughout), where can I purchase those? I did a search and they don't show up.
I have glasses and a mask was wondering if glass dust affects your skin in anyway? Worried about my hands hurting as I’ve experienced it with fibre glass before, not sure if it is the same. Thank you for your amazing videos x
Unless you have a particular condition, Katie, working with glass dust has never affected me and that is full time engraving for 37 years! I am 58 and I am quite happy with the skin on my face too. I am very particular with my grooming and cleansing, but I don't feel that glass has ever been a problem for my skin. But that is speaking soley for myself.
Lovely work. Just a help on pronunciation... Arkansas is pronounced ar can saw (not Ar cansas). Yes, it's weird, especially considering that Kansas is pronounced the way it's spelled.
My dear, if I had a £ for every time someone has told me that LOL !! This is a very old video I had released from my teaching channel www.patreon.com/glassengraving . I no longer refer to this stone by that name.

That is so beautiful. Thank you Amira.
Lo que lamento es no entender sus explicaciones, por no saber inglés y no estar sustitulado .
I do not speak Spanish but my video is -clear. There are Aps that can translate for you from my voice.
