Another display that was neglected and the historic car "Avalon" ended up being scrapped and a few years later the caboose and the former baggage car were also scrapped. Thankfully the RPO and loco 906 were sent to Water St for the display down from the museum. Of note the wooden caboose was a mainland caboose that CN donated to the display. It was last used in Ontario and retired in the early 80's. John Murphy the mayor wanted a caboose for the display but CN had none in Newfoundland to spare.
