    I'm very far from an expert, but Reo seems to have less of a smooth followthrough compared to Jesse? You can see him flinch and pull his bow away whenever he releases the arrows.

      Vincent S he does that so he can go ahed and reload...he pulls instead of dropping it if he drops the bow he could Chang the tragectory of the arrow

      Jesse is simply the best Hinge shooter in the world, he makes it flow like water. (no pun intended)

    Why don’t they show a side angle of the arrows flying. Doesn’t have to be super slow mo or anything but really the shots are just their face and the arrows once stuck

    • @HowitzerT
      @HowitzerT 4 роки тому

      Exactly. We have no context for how hard this is or isn't. Yet all archery contest footage appears to refuse to show the arrow in flight.

    • @delcat8168
      @delcat8168 4 роки тому

      Don't show arrow flight because they are using compounds and release aids at close range, too fast. This has little to do with archery and you wouldn't see any interesting flight of the arrow, it would be a very flat trajectory.
      Context for how hard it is:- It's much easier than using a wooden bow with no sights or stabilisers and marginally harder than using a crossbow.

    Thanks for getting dressed up Reo. Nice jeans, just wear whatever you want I’m sure it’s OK

      USA archery rules allow jeans as long as there is no rips or tears. Agreed it’s not the most professional look

      Let's not add golf level snobbery into archery. Of course don't wear a Borat mankini but jeans should be perfectly acceptable imo

    These guys need more weights and counter balances on their bows, it's not easy enough for them...

    Does anyone know what this little black back is for that Jessy put on his riser? Does it got any special function?

    How do these guys hold soooo stillllll at full draw

    • @kakarot1234567891234
      @kakarot1234567891234 5 років тому

      Compound bows have a let off point where once you pass that point you aren't holding the full draw weight. For example, if you bow is 55 pounds, at full draw you may only be holding 15 pounds.

      kakarot1234567891234 my bow is 60 lbs I’m holding like 16/17 lbs and I shake and wobble so bad

      @@jasonnester9514 Compound bows use a system of wheels and cables which are known as the cams. When the bow is drawn past the let off point, the cams turn and the draw weight is significant reduced because some of the stress of the weight is being placed on the cams. Now if your bow is 60 pounds and you're shaking at full draw there are a few possibilities as to what is happening.
      1. Even though compound bows have a let off point and you aren't holding the full rated draw weight, like recurve bows, the archer still needs the strength to be able to pull the bow comfortably. In other words, you should be able to pull 60 pounds comfortably even though we would rely on the cams to assist with the weight. Archery uses muscles that we don't traditionally exercise or develop, so even if you're a fairly well built and muscular individual, you may struggle with a 25 pound recurve bow and by extension a 60 pound compound bow.
      2. Form faults can be exaggerated with a compound bow. While wobbling during the draw indicates a potential "over-bowed" scenario ( draw weight is more than you can handle), it might also be a problem with form. While this affects recurve shooters more, if you don't have the correct muscular and skeletal alignment when drawing the bow, your body may not be able to handle the draw and hold of the string. You might also be holding the bow grip too hard as well, causing torquing of the bow (left and right movements), however the consequences of torquing the bow is noticing your shots going too far left or right rather than shaking during the draw.
      Without seeing a form demonstration, it becomes harder to determine what exactly is causing instability within your shot process, however if you shoot at an archery club be it in a school or private/public club, see if you can get a coach or an experienced archer to take a look at your form and see what they can notice. Sometimes you might have the same problem as another archer, but the cause of the problem may be different.

      Jason Nester it’s a lot of time on the range. Using correct form, and using the right muscles.

    Reo is not shooting good at all,I hate his form and his fellow throught.im 60 now 35 years ago we shot indoors and out doors under the nfaa rules here in Virginia,I shoot the bow hunter class with my release and 1 pin and my stabilizer had to be 12 inches or less.shooting my browning magreflex hunting bow,then I'd flip and shoot the Unlimited class or freestyle class with my browning pro competition with my 2 power scope and my 36 inch stabilizer bar plus my 8 inch a peace v-bars.we would shoot 300 scores that was 60 shoots plus 10 practice shoots if you wanted them or you could start letting them start scoring you with just 5 practice shoots or none at all.i shoot almost a preferct 300 score ever time I shot,but you could shoot a 300 score and still get beat.back then they counted x-rings you shoot.i shoot a perfect 300 score one time in the freestyle class with 57x's and still got beat by the Virginia state champion he shot a perfect 300 with 59x's.o'well at least he know I was there,I'd ware a patch on one eye and head phones to muffle the sound and people around me.i got a man make my quiver and belt for me out of leather here at our local college back then in his leather class.my belt was made like a weight belt because my back starting hurting me sometimes but after using my new belt my back problems went and stopped.plus my shooting and scores skyrocketed to.we shot outdoor 3d targets back then to,3d targets were just coming out then but we still had some paper targets of deer or bear with hay or straw and a good back stop,now back then we shot outdoors up to 50 to 55 yards and it was all unmarked yardage you had to figure how far the target was own your own in your head.we shot that way for years until ever new butt hole starting crying and complaining about missing and bracking to many of there arrows.i just told them that maybe you need to try to practice a little more,but that didn't do any good.about a year later they starting marking the distance on ever target,and I tryed it for a while but i finely gave it up outdoors after 22 years it was just now anymore challenge in it for me anymore.i still shoot indoor up until 2012,until I got bad news from my doctor that I had full blown colon cancer.im doing well now after 11 surgeries now but I still get out my old bows and look and remember the good times that I use to have with then shooting tournaments and deer hunting to.now I have a sa sports 390 crossbow that I hunt with now here on my farm in Virginia,but those were the days I'll never forget.i still have people come around and want me to tune there bows or fletch up them some arrows,and want me to show or teach them to shoot.some I do and some I don't because I can see if someone really want to shoot and learn about shooting a bow.those people are really far and wide these days.they think they can run to there local pro shop and learn and find out all they need to know about archery and shooting a bow,it took me years of loving it and all the friends I made doing it and I would not trade one minute of it today for the good time and fun I had over the years i was able to shoot🏅🥇🥈🥉🎖🏆🦌😊!!!!!
