Since the beginning I have been deeply moved by the nature of your music ..sharing with others and witnessing its generation of great joy. Last year..on earth day.. Mother Nature produced such profound healing at a very difficult time of sadness and tears. Over this last year I have had the privelege of sharing it over and over..for those in struggle and those in joy. It is a gift to children and families in trauma and the challenges to calming that are often associated with things like ADHD..ASD and FASD. This song is medicine for all humans who have the great privilege ..and responsibility... of walking softly with gratitude on our beautiful Mother. It is truly a lullaby from her soul to all our relatives and to all that is. Masi! Suzie
I discovered this band from Wolf Totem, listened to the Gereg front to back the next day, then again and again for months, and got the chance to see them live. The Hu roared "New Song" during the show, and they played this song without anyone in the audience knowing this song, but the energy this song produced is one of the best concert moments I've ever had. Was drooling over Black Thunder's release since I figured this would be on it, and damn... You've truly made one of the most inspiring songs I've ever heard. Looking forward to new albums and tours to the US!

I am from North East India. I didn't understand a single words but the music is so healing, i couldn't help myself but listen to it again n again. I grew up separated from my mother since I was 4 years old. My mother is now 92, still we're separate. Listening this song, it's like....'after years of separation my mother is holding her both hands on my forehead to kiss'. It almost teared my eyes. This song is purely peace yet so powerful. Like someone already commented, ordinary people don't make such glorious music..very truely said. Thanks n Long Live The Hu for such a beautiful feelings❤ You guys are welcome to India
I know what you mean. I was separated from my mom too, at birth (closed adoption). Still haven’t talked to her and was lucky someone else found me at least her picture or I wouldn’t even know what she looked like. This song makes me feel close to her somehow. Sorry you went through separation with your mom too. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.
_Naturally._ We derive from the huge waves of nomadic Siberian peoples who immigrated to the Americas some 20,000 years ago. Deep roots are telling . . . .
Is is. Maybe it's true that Canada's indigenous peoples came from the sandspit that used to be the Bering Strait that allowed others to cross. The US is a conundrum. Imo it's logical to suspect that both the north and the south contributed to the decendants of ancient time. Sadly, studying historical anthropology begs more questions than answers as very little history has been written down. A lot of theories are based in extrapolation for many of the world's ancient First Nations.
