Excellent video, as always. To my aging ears, the most noticeable difference was with the Stager, but not in a bad way. All 3 sounded very full, especially with the Pork Pie drums which are vastly underrated IMO.
Thanks. Yes PP are underrated. They are pretty cheap second hand in the UK, which is great for me. 😁 The Stager ribbons probably want to be more EQ'ed, but I really wanted to hear how the mics sounded with relatively no processing.
I fancy the Austrian Audio…mainly because I‘m using them myself in combination with a Black Lion Audio B173 Quad preamp. I‘ll find them a really affordable professional solution. At least for me…Thanks, Chris!
