Wow things have changed over the years. My family used to stay there frequently in the late 70/80ies. More country less fancy.

It’s been several years since we visited here, but don’t live too far away. Gearing up to start scheduling some day trips, so it will be on our list for 2023. Have a safe and very blessed Memorial Weekend -:) Hugs to Big T -:)
I used to stop there often when living in the Asheville area and would ride my motorcycle on the BRP. Pretty area but it’s never been much more than a “don’t blink or you’ll miss it” place. I think with the name, a lot of people imagine it would be maybe a smaller version of Helen, GA, but it’s not. Still if you’re nearby, it’s worth checking out.
