F-35B Lightning II pilots with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit perform flight operations aboard the USS Wasp (LHD-1) during Certification Exercise, April 13, 2018.
The 31st MEU and Amphibious Squadron 11 conduct Certification Exercise as the final evaluation in a series of training exercises which ensures readiness for crisis response throughout the Indo-Pacific region.

Why are there two different airplanes in this video?
The close up of the pilot shows a different airplane than the one seen in the wider shots. In the close up, the words "Don't cut canopy . . ." are printed on the bottom of the canopy. This text isn't present on the airplane shown in the other shots.
