- In the latest episode of the Bleav in Chargers podcast, hosts Matt "Money" Smith and Lorenzo Neal talked about a recent social media clip that showed Lo, who was leading blocking for LaDainian Tomlinson, creating a 60-yard gain before being chased down by Justin Tuck. Lo analyzed the play in detail.
They also discussed the potential of Joe Alt as a right tackle and the possibility of Trey Pipkins switching to guard. Lo talked about Jim Harbaugh's philosophy of fitting players to team needs rather than sticking to positions. Later on they discussed Jim Nagy's assessment of the Chargers' rookies, analyzing how they can immediately impact training camp and discussing the strengths and potential of the players.

Lo knows football like nobody else and Money is always great. The two of them together is as good as it gets for fans, Charger fans ⚡️
Olivea was a 7th round draft pick in the 2004 draft
You two are so awesome with the takes you provide regarding serious football content for the CHARGERS...Sincerely thank you both Matt and Lorenzo...GOD BLESS YOU GUYS
Look forward to you two every week! 💙
Lorenzo was straight up spittin!! Dropped some heavy knowledge
The man is brilliant but also was an absolute beast as a FB
Sweet content guys! LO WITH THE MICROPHONE!!
let’s go!
I though Lo was rocking a durag at first, but it’s just his chair 😂 ⚡️⬆️
LoNeal and Money spitting truths
Love the show. ⚡️ go bolts
OMG I've been ready to pull the trigger on Melin hats for over a year not but never understood why the hat cost so much lol Thank you for the info on the discount. I really hope they make a Chargers hat hahaha at least the color way. Melin Hat to match my fit would be dope.
WR room:
Palmer
Chark
McConkey
QJ
Darius
Rice
Pipkens is not an NFL starter level player. He stops moving his feet after two seconds. Each year we hear about Pipkens being a different guy than his past performance.
🎯
Your thoughts on adding Nick Hardwick to the staff?
Great move.
Dude is smart
Vidal looked so confident and smooth at the senior bowl. I have high hopes for him
Definately checking out those Melin caps!
Hire lo as a FB coach idc . He’s my favorite
I’m honestly just happy that despite all the punishment he took and gave out, he speaks and thinks very articulately and seems to be very healthy
It's crazy how good he was in college, and could have been as a pro if it wasn't for that broken ankle in like his second or third game as a rookie.
Neal is one of the best FB's ever imo
The way a 6’ 8” guy can move laterally against speed rushers is to really focus on keeping a wide base with good knee bend, so he has to have extremely flexible ankles. No anlke flexion no knee bend and he has no way to engage his quads to push sideways
Football shouldn’t have a Hall
of Fame if Lorenzo Neal isn’t in it.
A real football player
Chark was a stud two years ago on the lions
Shane Olivea was a 7th round pick for the Chargers.
I misinterpreted the title. Had me believing Lorenzo Neal was on the Charger's staff now. Damn
Shane Olivea was drafted.
Yeah that statement was before the UDFAs, AND kinda coach speak. Pipkins WILL be an expensive ST for 1 year, then he's gone
They have him at RG at training camp rn
McConkey. Palmer. Davis. Rice. Cornelius. Chark.
I think that Harbs and company are not wedded to QJ. He is not their guy and he does not fit what they want to do. Hopefully, they can get a pick for him. I know these guys are primarily rookies, but Harbs does a lot with a little at WR. Keep the best guys.
Good list. QJ will have plenty of time this offseason to catch the ball with his hands 🙌 I won’t be surprised if he’s let go.
"Weak men (Telesco) create hard times, strong men (Harbaugh) create good times."
I've been thinking they should move Quinton Johnston to Defensive Back.
Bolt up
🤘💙💪💙⚡️
Zo!!⚡️
So many games ended with Herbert getting sacked or having no time at all to throw the ball offensive line was not a bad pic
Jamal was given a Starting position too soon to me.
I think it’s good to get a guy from Kansas City so you have a look at their playbook and their schemes to help your defense
I'm confident Rice will earn a roster spot...
Hunter Renfrow
Simi Fehoko? Who is he? Don’t be surprised if he makes the team! Official 4.42 and unofficial 4.38 40 time in 2021 who is 6’3 and around 220 ponds. Can block too.
No
Sorry, Money. Chark is constructed from glass and balsa wood. If Herbert keeps him healthy, stand back... dude is magic.
So last week money said Darius Davis could be the odd man out of the wide receiver room... Now 7 days later he can't see the team moving on from him 🤣🤦 sometimes we really just be saying things just to say it huh?
Pipkins will be an 8 million dollar swing
Probably, but that's good insurance, a little expensive but it's better if something happens during the season having to go find one.
I'm not a big fan of the Joe Alt pick but that's ok so I'm not sure he's a starter just because he was a first round pick.
No he won’t lol. Either he starts at guard or is traded. No way they pay him to sit on the bench
They won't get anything by trading him they would have to cut him. Then they would have to hope who ever signed him gives him a bigger contact that's how that works or they paying him to play for another team.@@marcusreichert8566
@@marcusreichert8566 yeah because trading players is just so simple🤦🤦🤦
Videl could be are next Ekler or sproles is what I'm guessing. Take EK out he had to do that all by himself.
i want TNT back
LT threw 2 or 3 TD's to Gates
Chargers will keep 6 WRs on the roster. The 3 that they drafted are way too talented to not be on the roster. So, at least 2 out of the 3 receivers drafted will get a spot. Then, you also have to keep in mind that Davis will indeed be on the 53 due to him being the return guy. So if you keep 5, its like you're really only keeping 4 because Davis is used as just a return guy. So you want that extra guy in case for injury (which we forbid that happens lol)
Trey Pipkins? The third? We are talkin' about the same guy, right? Nobody's foolin' anybody here...
Not a fan of the Joe Alt pick at all but to say he's going to be the starter just because he was picked so high is a little sus to me. I get it though you need your hype men even if you get knocked out in the first round.
Why don’t you like it?
@@Dom21v why, because it wasn't a need & now you have to reach for other spots and prey Joe never gets hurt but these pass Rushers are going to eat his ass alive in the NFL. It happens every year.
@@jdl619 That you Tom Telesco? 😂
@@TitaniumShadow they would not have this roaster if it wasn't for him 😭 about it.
Nobody's gonna eat Alts ass. He gave up 1 sack in 700 drop backs. They played Clemson, OSU etc
Many receivers are disruptive.
Why is QJ a guarantee? He is a weak link in my eyes.
