Congratulations Amit for starting to plan a car!! Really a necessity more than a luxury. I have three cars. My husband drives a dezire, i drive a celerio and my daughter drives a kwid. Just a suggestion, go for TATA or Maruti, their service is par excellence!! No other brand comes even close. My first car was a nano so I know TATA as a brand. Hyundai and Renault is high maintenance and expensive servicing. This is my experience ofcourse, just thought of sharing with you. Ultimately what you buy will be your dream and it'll definitely be special. Cheers to your endeavours! God bless

Congrats on this new journey of yours! I can relate to the experience as my husband had the same excitement and dream.. After years of struggle and this and that, we bought our 1st car this April and it is a Tata Punch. We absolutely love it and enjoy every bit of our drives both on road. We recently went to Lonavala from Mumbai in our Punch and it was such a comfortable journey with all its safety features in place..

All the best to both of you for ticking off an item from your bucket list. I too follow the same regime at night or whenever I'm free. Go for Nexon (bigger car, more power & torque, especially) instead of Punch. I would suggest buy it from Maharashtra and opt for BR (Bharat Registration) number. Maharashtra RTO provides BR number for IT employee, which is currently not available in WB. This will lower the tax amount considerably as you'll be paying the tax every 2 years only. And relocation of vehicle will be hassle free all over India.
