- In this video I took a taxi from Gold Mall to Serena, But the catch is that the taxi driver let me drive's the taxi it was so fun. Then I explored Serena mall and met a sweet lady there from UK.

My mother was watching your vlogs. She liked the content and your behaviour all over. She said that you're the most decent, respectful and nice travel vlogger, that she has watched.
She said that she observed that you moulded well into our society and you picked up the language better, in each vlog. And she said, that she thinks, if you decided to settle in Pakistan, in a few months, no one will be able to tell if you're a foreigner or just another Pakistani.
She liked your mannerisms too. Respecting elders and being friendly to people, especially greeting everyone around. 👍

Cuz it's Islamabad where only army and govt employees live. Other densely populated cities of Pakistan are run down except the army areas. Pakistan army officers are richest people in the country with millions and some billions of dollars in the bank.

I think Phil Bland is the first foreign travel vlogger in Pakistan to have made a vlog where the travel vlogger gets to drive a taxi himself/herself.

I stayed in Serena and that was one of the best experiences I have had , I am In Dubai’s expensive hotel now but it can’t compete the decency and architecture of Serena

Another excellent video.Phil don't risk driving any car as some people don't have insurance and if you do get in an accident, you will have to pay in cash for every car damaged, like my friend did as he had a multiple car accident which left him bankrupt. Also get those cards made ASAP . Take care from Sal in the UK

The Light was not red, the Traffic Signal is inoperative at this junction. I drive daily here, and most of Traffic signals around this area are like this. Flashing Red and Yellow to warn you about being cautious...
Simiarly the traffic lights in this area sometimes turn off.

But please please please note one thing, the Taxi driver asked you to brake rules when you were crossing at red light of signal. Please don't do that again. It is a basic civic sense of any educated and civilized citizen. Also you should not brake rules of State of Pakistan when you are here
So please don't do that again.

What taxi app operates in Islamabad which I can use. Like Uber, heard you mentioning Kareems, thought they don’t operate anymore in PK?
