The irony in Bivol, a proper light heavyweight his entire career, getting all the credit for beating Canelo while Canelo
started his career at welterweight and went all up to light heavyweight while being 5.7/5.8 with an 70.5 reach, which makes it even more impressive itself, and he doesn't get any credit because Charlo is too small when he is a light and super middleweight who even has a twin brother at middleweight. This is lame stuff..
Canelo was a heavy favourite against Bivol. Personally, I thought Bivol was going to get robbed like GGG did, and he almost did. Bivol whooped him. Canelo was also a heavy favourite vs Charlo, and Canelo won. That’s the difference.
This Charlo fight came out of nowhere, and nobody with any boxing knowledge really cared for it from day 1. People want the Benevidez fight.
@@5tar5z I also expected Canelo to get a decision win against Bivol but the thing about the fight was that Bivol was unknown and people expected Canelo to somehow make it easy. But Bivol has been a light heavyweight his entire career and Canelo wasn't the bigger man.
@@alcottdevalte7440 Bivol wasn’t unknown. Not as popular as Canelo, Fury, Joshua etc., obviously, but Canelo was a heavy favourite, even wider odds than the Charlo fight. I personally was not surprised by Bivol winning, but I did think the judges would rob him. Yes, Bivol is a regular 175 fighter, but was considered the underdog 🤷♂️. Canelo was -550 for the win, and Bivol +400, so Bivol winning was considered an upset, that’s why some people consider it a huge win. The odds on the Charlo fight were similar, but Charlo came up 2 weight divisions, as you know. Charlo was supposed to lose, and he did, badly. That’s the difference.
Personally, I want to see Bivol fight Beterbiev, and Canelo vs David Benevidez.

Teddy's always been the biggest Canelo hater. He said Canelo would win a close fight because his friends (the judges) would give him the win. He never gives Canelo credit for winning and always blames the judges or his opponents bad performances for why Canelo won.
He makes valid points... Canelo almost got the win over Bivol, a fight he was completely dominated.
For whatever the reason he got nod over GGG in the first & second fight. In both fights GGG outhrew & outlanded him in 9 of the 12 rounds.
Cotto was given one round, yes he did lose, but one round is absurd... & he wasn't prime Cotto.
How he even got a split against Floyd is baffling.
His best win was against an older fatter GGG.
His most impressive fights were against fighters from lower weight classes.

Tyson has actually evolved a lot as a human being and speaks about his vulnerabilites, strengths, emotions and life stories all the time, both right and wrong, so I'm extremely impressed by that. He’s had countless gifted scorecards in his favour, caught for PEDs, and ran from 160 to the easy 168 division. And just look at most of the opponents he’s won belts from, it’s almost laughable. He vacated his first MW title. I can go on, but I’m sure there’s no point in doing so.

Jermell was all smiles in the post fight press conference. I can't remember the last time I saw a fighter so happy to lose. That was a completely different Charlo than the one we saw crying in the post fight conference after being beaten by Tony Harrison 5 years ago. He was bragging about the fact that he didnt get knocked out as if it was some kind of victory. After paying almost $100 to watch that lackluster performance, to say I'm disappointed in Jermell would be an understatement.

People talk as if canelo is this huge monster. He's a small 168 he's not a natural super middle weight like the ones from the past. Roy Jones, James toney, joe calzaghe Carl froch, Andre ward, they where a lot bigger than Canelo and charlo had a height and reach advantage over canelo

Somehow in this subject Teddy always minimize the fact that Bivol had a huge reach and size advantage on Canelo, but Teddy always points the size of Charlo, who is still bigger than Canelo. Also Teddy forget to mention another difference: Canelo actually try to win vs Bivol, he couldn't but he tried. So, Canelo and Jermell at some point were both at 154 ¿right? and so if Canelo can campaign at 160, 168 and fight Bivol at 175 ¿Isn't that enough to give him credit? Whether you're right or wrong, David is the next best Super MW and has been for some years, so the fight needs to happen because boxing is about the best vs best. Canelo has a great resume, but he's taking his sweet time on fight Benavidez
Benavidez is coming to fight, and he throws more than 300 punches per round, make no mistake Benavidez is not like Charlo and he's not scared of Canelo, can he beat Canelo? He sure has a good chance, expect a hell of a fight and a frustrated Canelo throughout the fight and possibly goes the distance in favor of Benavidez.

Teddy even said Bivol would get robbed if it was close, but it wasn’t close yet somehow it was 115-113, but that fight was a blowout. Another judge scored the Mayweather fight 114-114, and look at GGG1 118-110 and a 114-114 when it wasn’t even close. and the Lara fight had a 117-111. C’mon man be honest.
