Rite of replication (kicked) creates 5 copies of target creature. Copy be’lakor. He sees 5 demons enter (6x5=30dmg) Each copy sees 4 other demons enter (4x6=24x4=96dmg) total 126dmg in one move
@@AlexanderBC42 yes, they do all die upon entering the battlefield together. However, the ETB of each of their effects also still activate. Their death doesn’t counter the ETB effect they each have. They die but the effect still resolves
Putting the Helm of the Host on a Bloodthirster is a good combo, if your opponent can’t deal with fliers you get infinite combat steps, along all the new Bloodthirsters triggering Be’lakor.
I'd recommend Heartless Summonings. If you get it in an opening hand it can ramp your board state pretty fast allowing an early commander drop. If you get it mid/late game it refunds it's cost almost immediately. The average demon being roughly a 6/6 largely negates the -1/1 effect it applies.
Yeah I have a jet medallion and krrick in my list and was playing a lot of demons for free. Gonna put in a maskwood nexus in for more synergy. Belzenlok is also a powerhouse with the flickers and high average cmc cost
@Dylan Mitchell These are the 10 ramp spells I run and they just bring the demons online so fast. I'll eventually replace dream devourer, as it has had no real impact in any of my games so far, but I find myself using an early tutor when I have one to go get herald of slaanesh or Heartless Summonings because of how impactful they end up being. Love the insight man, Be'Lakor had stricken me to be an incredibly strong demon tribal commander so it was nice to get inspiration from your build Keep up the good vids! Maybe a Trayzn the infinite combo deck next?
@@MadHatterYT Of course, combo decks are fun! My fav combo deck is a simic +1/+1 counter deck with simic ascendancy as a wincon, its a ton of fun to build/play so I recommend looking into it as well if you havn't
Signets are better that talismans? Same cmc but without the burn? Also it filters better. One blue for a red and black is better? My issue is the life gain, being that you hurt yourself so much.
personally I like talismans better. 1 life isn't a ton of burn in commander and isn't really a big deal. You can use them as colorless also if you don't need to mana fix. It's something you can activate the second it comes down also (like on curve) if you have some one drops in hand. Isn't really a big deal either way I think. Just comes to personal preference.
@@amodking Yea! So, if you don't like the damage being taking then no worries take the signets. Another argument for talismans is kind of an opportunity cost one. In order to use the signets you have to hold up mana to activate them. You don't with Talismans. Let's say I want to hold up Counterspell mana (2 blue). I only have one blue source in lands so I have to use my talisman / signet for the other blue mana. With Signets I need to hold up an extra land to activate the signet in order to get that extra blue. That land could have gone to something else in my turn, maybe I'm a turn behind now because I wanted to hold up mana for my answer. With a talisman I could just take 1 dmg and use that land for something else.

holy shit lmao! I didn't consider that to be a game finisher, but that'll work for sure. xD Great catch man!
And because they die due to legendary rules before the stack resolves you just take damage from 1 belakor on the board.

What cards do you think also synergize with Be'lakor? Do you have any suggestions for commanders to build around in the future? Let me know!
